Cairngorm Lodge Youth Hostel
Loch Morlich
This 72-bed youth hostel provides great facilities including a good range of dorms and private rooms, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, bike storage, a drying room and WiFI. Cooked breakfasts, packed lunches and full evening meals are also available. Cairngorm Lodge Youth Hostel is popular with outdoor enthusiasts.
Switzerland
The nature surrounding Cairngorm Lodge is gorgeous and there's many different trails close by for beginners and veterans alike. The Hostel even has it's own restaurant which is good value for money. The staff were always really friendly and helpful and were able to help with any that may arise. But by far my favourite thing about the hostel was the "quiet room" with it's comfortable sofas and chairs. There's even newly renovated bathrooms/bath pods which are really slick looking. I can warmly recommend this Hostel to anyone staying in the Highlands. And I can also recommend Glenmore as it is breathtaking.

The youth hostel provides a good range of facilities including dorms and private rooms, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, a spacious dining area, a large drying room and ample parking for cars and buses. There is also a large open-plan lounge which provides stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountains and surrounding woodland.
Finland
Really great atmosphere for both families, couples and solo travellers. The kitchen was EXTREMELY well equipped, people cooked 3 course dinners in there - loved it! The staff was wonderful. Located right next to a gorgeous nature reserve.

The shared bathrooms were little rooms with a shower, toilet and sink and they were clean. The people at the reception were very welcoming and helpful. Good parking space right next to the youth hostel. Location is great for visiting the reindeer centre and the surrounding area.

We had access to our own shower and lavatory - just down the corridor. The setting couldn’t be better - loch Morlich across the road, literally at the foot of the Caingorms

Bedding was clean, duvets looked brand new. Internet charging on each bunk bed was great. WiFi was good. Lounge furniture was very comfortable, well laid out and very clean. The dining room was spacious and well laid out. Conservatory was lovely to have breakfast in, with lots of windows open. You could sit out in the garden, it was lovely and still quiet.
