Usually I travel by motorcyle and Casa da Planicie offer a closed terrace where you can safely leave your bike during the night. Nevertheless it's a very calm and quite place. Also, the breakfast was very good with a varity of products available. Sonia and her father were extremely kind hosts.

An astonishing welcome - so hospitable and friendly, I felt like long-lost family. Stunning breakfast- really exceptional. Beautiful grounds and setting. Lovely clean air, ample parking, extremely safe. An outside seating area perfect for the evening as well as for breakfast. Beautiful antiques and lamps throughout the house. A real glimpse of classic Portugal.

The entire arrangement is just a dream Great location, great views, wonderful sights of the stars. Nuno is a remarkably friendly and welcoming host. Ideal for trips to the surrounding ancient cities or to enjoy the praias fluviales of Lago de Alquena.

The ease of collecting the key from the key safe. The furniture and pictures on the walls made it feel homely. The location was very central but very little noise from outside. The large windows which let in fantastic breezes. The roof terrace was a great space.

Great location for exploring the area. The Quinta is set back from the main road, so peaceful and quiet. Room was basic but clean and had a table and chairs at the back. Swimming pool with sunbeds. Good breakfast.
