At first I was going to stay in Izla Soanna for 3 nights and ended up staying 9 nights an then coming back! The rooms are very clean and comfy, they have a fan per bed and nice mosquito nets. There is also the option of affordable private rooms. The location is just perfect, very near the nicest beach in panglao and at short distance from alona where all the touristy shops are. What I enjoyed the most was the people there, Anna, Flor and Sofia will make you always feel like home, they are extremely nice, helpful and funny. Definitely worth spending some time with them!

The staff were very accommodating and Momo was very welcoming. They have the most adorable kittens and dog to love! The bed was comfy and clean and the showers were good and clean, as well as the bathroom. It was easy to book tours as well as bikes and tricycles when needed. There was space to meet people but it was still quite quiet which was a nice mix as the social areas were not next to the dorms.

The room was the biggest we've had in the Philippines, also very clean, big & comfortable bed. Hot water shower was a big plus. We had a scooter accident while in Moalboal and they were very helpful, gave us betadine and bandages, even offered to take us to the bus station. Very nice people, thank you for everything.

All rooms come with a shared bathroom and a shower, and certain units at the hostel have a safety deposit box. The staff, large dorms and a great area where it's easy to meet other travellers and make plans with. Ervin (the owner) is super helpful and can give you lots of tips on where to eat/visit etc. There is free tea and coffee all day long and in the morning you can grab some toast and jam. Definitely a place to get stuck for a few days at least! I highly recommend this place to other travellers.

Our dormitory is an air-conditioned room of 12 beds with shared bathroom, 2 hot and cold shower, 2 CR, and private locker for your personal items. We usually turn OFF our AC from 9 AM to 5 PM since most of the guest are out and for ecological reason. You can always claim to our staff to TURN ON the AC for few hours. Amazing Hostel! Nice cooled dorm rooms, amazing staff and a nice location close to everything. They respect the peace and quiet so that everyone can have a well-rested night. Next to that they organise all kinds of trips like whaleshark watching and canyoneering! Really recommend this place. Thank you Maayong hostel for the good times!
