Located in Åsens By cultural reserve, this hostel offers pet-friendly accommodation set in 3 different buildings. The surrounding village dates back to the 1900s. WiFi and parking are free. I like everything, really, and it is not exaggerating. The whole stay was like a travel back in time. Just roaming around old houses full of stories, where you can almost feel the presence of the previous owners, is just amazing. I loved the idyllic views and the silence. The bed was soft and extra comfy, and I slept like a baby :) The surroundings are amazing. I went for a hike to the nearby lake and saw many animals, including an adder basking in the sun. If, no not "if", when I will have another chance to be in the neighbourhood, I will definitely stay there again!

Located in Gränna, 900 metres from Grenna Museum, Strandterrassen features free WiFi access and free private parking. The hostel has a barbecue and terrace, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Breakfast was very tasty and there was a lot to choose from. The staff was very kind and the location is perfect - near the port, bus station, stage and cottages where other visitors might stay. It's also not far from the center, it's a 10-15 minute walk.
