Easily one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Facilities and amenities spotless and top notch. I mean, it's an Alice in Wonderland-themed hostel in the jungle with a scenic view of the island, which is awesome. You're a short drive or walk away from everything, and taxis are easily accessible. But that's the not the best part. The best hostels are the ones where the staff is involved and motivated to create a great atmosphere for travelers. This hostel does that and more. The family who runs the hostel is SO kind. They'll remember your name, make you feel welcome, and they put in a ton of work to running events at the hostel and curating activities around the island for all different tastes. They even make their own little infographic ads for suggested activities! I was blown away by Valerie, every volunteer, and everyone involved here. Super social and fun, but you'll sleep great at night if you want to get up early and dive or anything. When I come back to Koh Tao, this is the only place I'm staying!

WaterMellow Hostel ligger i Koh Tao och har en gemensam lounge, en terrass, en restaurang och en bar. Staff was very friendly, wifi was good, nice open air hangout spaces, and the mattresses were pretty comfy.

Blue Chitta Yoga & Freediving ligger i Koh Tao, en kort bit från Mae Haad strand, och har en terrass, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Nice spacious beds and a clean environment. I enjoyed breakfast in the cafe as well as yoga classes in the studio. If I ever go back I will definitely stay here!

Echo Hostel Koh Tao ligger i Koh Tao, 3 minuters promenad från Mae Haad strand, och har en gemensam lounge, bar och utsikt över havet. Very neat and clean. At walking distance from pier. Owners were super friendly. Full of hospitality. Would love to stay again.....

Mira was the best rep everrrr - so fun to be around and such a good time. Had some problems with my phone and she helped chat me through it and came and woke me up when I didn’t have an alarm 😉 SHE IS THE BEST

Isla Tortuga Diving & Hostel ligger i Koh Tao och har en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en bar. I stayed in the hostel part and had such a good experience with my Open Water, I left the island and came back after 5 days to do my Advanced Open Water while staying in a private room. The facilities were immaculate I felt like a princess in the private room. Beautiful views, gorgeous everything. As a world traveler, it is often difficult to find community abroad. When I come across this in my travels, it is a treasure to behold. Isla Tortuga and the community around and within it, are one of those life-affirming communities. I am so thankful and relieved that people like you all exist. Genuine, good hearted people with a love for adventure, friends and nature. Just wow. I came across Isla Tortuga on a reddit thread randomly on my search for dive schools... and when I saw they also had a hostel connected to it I signed up. Had no idea what I was getting myself into. What a PLEASANT SURPRISE. The people that work at Isla have a special way of making family out of strangers. I feel I have family here. I should've assumed by the name that there would be many Spanish speakers here, but did not put 2 and 2 together xD Even if you don't speak Spanish, just get in the mix with different speaking people. I always felt included even if I was just observing what was happening. There was people here from all corners of the world. This is a treat. The owners of this place are top notch humans. The people that run a business and their character says a lot about a business in its totality. Carlos was super helpful to me in answering all my dumb questions before I even arrived, was very encouraging and caring in his own way. Javier was super organized and helpful with logistics and was a bright light. I felt very taken care of at Isla Tortuga. My teachers were excellent, even though english was not their first language, they spoke great, were both very thorough and highly valued safety.
