Traditional alpine apartment in Zell am See, Austria. Less than an hour's drive from Salzburg or Innsbruck. One bedroomed apartment, with large private balcony, recently modernized and well equipped. The building is in a quiet cul-de-sac less than a minutes walk to the lake, a short 7 minute walk into town and City Express ski lift. Sleeps up to 4.
The apartment is located within a block of 8 (privately owned) holiday apartments. We are situated on the 2nd floor with a sunny, private balcony. There is ski storage on the ground floor and a BBQ area to the rear of the building for those sunny summer evenings. The launderette with coin operated washing machine and tumble drier are also on this floor. The apartment itself has recently been refurbished with a well equipped kitchen, cable TV and free WIFI. Zell am See is a fabulous all year round destination and there is plenty to do just staying here, you definitely do not need a car and can walk to all local amenities and attractions. However, it is also an excellent base for exploring the rest of Austria. Superb transport links allow you to easily get to local tourist areas as well as the rest of Europe.
Located in a quiet cul- de-sac opposite lake within a few minutes walk of all amenities. Ideal for skiing and superb in summer for lake and all tourists attractions. Great outdoor sports, including mountain walks, cycling, sailing or just relaxing around the lake or in one of the 3 outdoor lakeside pools, In summer there is a weekly Wednesday 'Sommer Fest' where you can wander the streets and enjoy tasting the local food, wine and beer, as well as listen to local music. In winter Zell am See is a popular and vibrant ski resort with superb ski links and modern lift system. There is a great apres-ski scene and many excellent bars and restaurants to choose from. For the immediate and local area no transport is needed. Everything can be accessed on foot. Train and bus connections are excellent if you want to explore the region E.g. Salzburg, Kitzbuhel Innsbruck, Vienna, Munich.
