Sankt Stefan ob Stainz is located in the well-known Schilferland in western Styria, well-known excursion destinations are the Stainzer Warte, which offers a wonderful view over western and southern Styria, the power plant in Arnstein (also a mountain bike highlight), the Bad Gamser Weinbergwarte, the Teigitschklamm and the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park. The Grebenzen - St. Lambrecht ski area offers a total of around 27 kilometers of slopes, beautiful landscapes and varied runs. A real natural ski area not far from Sankt Stefan ob Stainz. In summer, the Wildon bathing lake, the Nymphenweiher bathing lake in Niedergams or the natural bathing pond in Stainz offer lots of bathing fun!
