In the centre of Sydney’s cultural heartland, this Newtown cottage is perfectly positioned to revel in the neighbourhood’s bustling delights. It’s minutes from King Street, which boasts back-to-back cafes, fashion boutiques, thrift shops and bars, catering to every hour of the day. The suburb is effortlessly connected via public transport for those needing to get into the CBD. Step through the front door and you’ll instantly feel at home. This cottage is light and breezy with the living and dining area flowing to a private courtyard. Sit here and enjoy your morning coffee or perhaps an afternoon wine. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home, although with some of Sydney’s best dining on your doorstep you may not want to. It comes with a coffee pod machine for early rises. In the evenings, relax on the sofas, enjoying your favourite TV. The property comes with three bedrooms, each immaculately presented for a good nights’ sleep. Downstairs you’ll find a queen-sized bedroom and two single beds, perfect for those travelling in a group. Upstairs lies the master suite, which includes a dedicated workstation and high-end ensuite bathroom. A full second bathroom is located downstairs, stocked with complimentary amenities for your stay. Guests will also have access to a washing machine and dryer, adding to their holiday convenience. Secure parking is available for one small car, due to narrow laneway access.

It’s main thoroughfare, King Street, is jam-packed with restaurants, boutique shops, record and vintage stores, rooftop bars and notable pubs, making it a vibrant hub at all hours of the day. Eclectic and artsy by nature, it offers a cinema, much-loved theatre and colourful street art. Enjoy traditional pizza at Bella Brutta (or Gigi’s for lauded vegan), burgers at Mary’s or creative share plates at Bloodwood.
