A comfy light filled older apartment with character close to the beach. Nestled in a quiet tree lined street with all amenities close at hand. 2 mins walk to beach, funky restaurants, cool cafes with a village feel. 15 mins walk along the beach to St Kilda and Acland Street. Close to Brighton beach, Chapel St, South Melb market. Easy transport options to take you into the city or to and from airport. Best suited for 2 but a comfortable sofa double bed in the lounge.
I love travelling and we have travelled and lived in lots of places in the world. I am a social worker working with migrants and refugees and an advocate for human rights. I believe in leaving a small footprint on this beautiful place we call earth. I believe that people are mostly generous and kind. I am big on having a social conscience and making the world a better place. I love food, growing food, cooking food and sharing food with others. Our family have used Airbnb a lot when we were travelling and we have hosted lots of overseas visitors to our farmhouse and now I would like to share my city accomodations with you. The spaces I share are not just purely for commercial income, it is also often our home away from home and therefore has our little quirky touches and imperfections and it is a comfortable and not a luxe apartment. I hope to be able to make travelling as fun and an enjoyable experience for you as it is for us by sharing with you what we have.
Beautiful, friendly, cool neighbourhood close to beach, great eating places and very convenient for everything.
