Welcome to ‘The Cobbler,’ a magnificently restored home from the 1890s, steeped in the history of Launceston. Originally built as a family residence for the Stanwix family, renowned for their shoemaking prowess in Launceston, this home now serves as an inviting and thoughtfully curated accommodation. Immerse yourself in a unique Tasmanian experience. ‘The Cobbler’ is ideally situated near the town centre, offering opportunities to create unforgettable memories with friends or family.
A Launceston local, my days are spent enjoying all our beautiful city (and state) has to offer! I am a wife to Tim, a local builder, and mother to two young boys who keep us both busy and entertained. We hope that you enjoy your stay at ‘The Cobbler’. We live locally and are always available to provide friendly support should you need any assistance during your stay.
The Cobbler is conveniently located within a few minutes walk to the local gourmet grocer, cafe, bakery and post office. Explore the walking trails of the Cataract Gorge and enjoy spectacular scenery and serenity.
