Our all-white, immaculate cottage in funky North Hobart has been described by numerous guests as the best cottage in Hobart. It is a luxurious and spacious sanctuary for couples, festival fans, or a small family who want to breathe in Hobart's pure mountain air whilst staying exceptionally close to all the charms this lovely city has to offer. This gorgeous property, closed during the pandemic is now reopened and has been lovingly renovated and restyled as high-end accommodation. There are two bedrooms. The main bedroom downstairs has a super comfortable queen size bed. Upstairs, an equally comfortable double bed. The spacious bathroom has a clawfoot bath and walk in shower. The dining/lounge/kitchen is flooded with light and opens to a deck and beautiful garden. The entrance hall has an inviting chair to sit and read and a desk. Upstairs is a gorgeous nook with books. Two car spaces are on site. We no longer offer the wood fire for use as a previous guest, sadly almost caused a fire. So, the fireplace is locked. I send out a personalised message to each guest ahead of checkin with suggestions for restaurants, cafes etc. The cottage is in the beating heart of one of Hoart's best suburbs.
As a journalist, fortunately I get to travel away a lot but always love coming home to Tassie. My idea of a good time is a warm fire and time spent with my family and friends, lots of music and a nice glass of our local pinot. Feel free to contact via email with any queries regarding the cottage. Emergency numbers are in the information sent to your mobile once you book. I will be available via email or phone until 7pm for emergencies.
Has everything! It's funky, safe, close to city and in the beating heart of the restaurant strip. Bus stop: 100 metres. North Hobart strip: Around the corner. City/Salamanca: Less than ten dollars in a taxi. Space for two cars right outside the front door.
