Everything was fine, with the exception of the mattresses, which really need replacing, as they're compressed, and I assume they are quite old. They were very uncomfortable.

We staid for the weekend. It was so good, with the snow.
We staid for the weekend. It was so good, with the snow. Durbuy center is very small and you can go through it in half a day or 1 day even. Although if you like walks in the nature and other activities, like horse riding or kayaking, it is nice to enjoy even more, on a long weekend or so. Really good escape from our day to day routine.

Very beautiful ancient town with a castle.
Very beautiful ancient town with a castle. It was lovely to walk through the winding streets looking at the old shops selling local produce. Nice topiary garden with many trees cut into interesting shapes. Beautiful river and geological rock formations. Quite small and does not take long to walk around.

Durbuy is a wonderful town in a UNESCO global geopark region that’s well worth visiting. With a good mix of both old historic and sympathetically added modern properties it’s very much a tourist hot spot. For either the agile adventurous or just people watching from the many cafes, bars and restaurants.

A little medieval village from the XIV century,...
A little medieval village from the XIV century, representative of the area, laid down in a valley on the river bank. A picturesque view of a river, rocks, and a castle. It is called the smallest city that exists as its rights were gained in 1333 and the street structure with the layout dates from then.
What makes an impression is that all the houses are built from stones with thick walls and small windows. There are many good restaurants and nicely located terrasse to sit and relax at good food or coffee.
Claartje and Bart are Superhosts! Warm, friendly reception, went the extra mile to prepare a wonderful vegan breakfast for us, and had printed maps for nearby hiking routes with clear instructions/photos to ensure we got back in one piece.
Location is great, next to start of a hike, also flowing river, and a great Spar supermarket 2 mins down the road. Short drive to Durbuy centre and close driving proximity (20-30 mins max) to some great places to visit, like La Roche en Ardenne.
Would definitely stay there again!
Very warm welcome by the hosts, all information we needed with regards to walking tours, restaurants, nearby villages was given accompanied by a welcome drink. Very cozy living room and "salon" in which you can sit back and relax next to the open fire.
Only 5min away from the famous and cute village Durbuy. Breakfasts is delicious! Rooms are spacious and coffee and water is available in the room. Would recommend it and would stay there again!
Beautiful and charming hotel in the heart of the historic district of Durbuy, a small town in the Ardennes region. Room was nice and equipped with everything I needed. The picturesque charm of Durby is fully echoed in their delightful restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommended if you want to experience a Michelin Star dinner.
The location is excellent, outside the Durbuy town, allowing for a quiet stay. The room was spacious, with a smaller separate bedroom/living with an extra bed for our child. Breakfast was also pleasant.
There is also a restaurant on the ground floor that seems to be very popular. It was full in evening. We haven't tried it, though. Probably another time...
Easy check-in and convenient parking in a nice garage. It is part of the newly renovated Hotel Sanglier, which sets a nice quality standard for Durbuy. The room was nicely sized and furnished very modern and chic. Spacious, well-appointed bathroom. The hotel is on the main square in Durbuy, which gives it some panache.
Friendly, helpful staff.
It was a great place for kids, with a large playground (will be even better when there is some shade), the jumping castle and the other guest kids
Availability of food from morning till evening is very convenient
Lots of activities and food available in Durbuy and Bravaux, usually a short 10-min drive away.
Price was really reasonable.
Amazing breakfast, super friendly staff, all facilities you would need, they even have free welness facilities to use. Breakfast with all local and bio products. Fun to walk around the farm. Close to great hikes and sights. Very spacious room, very well decorated. Couldn't have been better. It was a little paradise!
We had the room with the ensuite bubble bath (for 2 persons) which was truly a delight! Wonderful room. Hotel is located at the main square and they have their own carpark. So location is good, service as well, all the facilities you need are there, so you are good to go for a 2 day stay in cute Durbuy.
Very friendly owner who booked a table for us for dinner in a nearby town, as we arrived late and the restaurant of the hotel was closed. Great breakfast with local products. Beautiful room and bathroom in a rustic style, very clean.
Caro is an amazing host and we really enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was super good and you could ask for more if you want, although it was already big enough :))
The area is nice, both Barvaux and Durbuy, totally worth visiting.
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms was big and comfortable . The design is warm and welcoming and there’s an amazing smell in the lobby. The spa area and treatments were great
The best continental breakfast! Really spacious rooms, tastefully decorated with lovely furnishings. In the centre of Durbuy on a really nice street. Easy to access by foot.
