This is a lovely hotel. The lady at reception (sorry, I forgot her name) was most helpful during check-in. She gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were nice. Breakfast was well organized with a good variety of choices. The location was perfect as it only took a couple of minutes to walk to the main square.

Picture Postcard Perfect

Bruges is a picture perfect medieval city that will charm you with its distinctive, century-old houses, plentiful canals and city walls. The famous 13th-century Belfry offers the opportunity to watch the cobbled market place, the Grote Markt, below while 47 bells call out to the city every 15-minutes. While you’re in the Grote Markt you can take a ride in one of the horse-drawn carriages around the city.

Many interesting artifacts can be found in the churches of Bruges, a Michelangelo statue is housed in the Church of Our Lady and the Basilica of the Holy Blood contains a vial of blood reportedly from Jesus Christ. Other museums include the Groeninge Museum which includes works of art spanning 6 centuries.

Belgium cuisine is famous worldwide and the cafes of Bruges offer an inviting retreat from the cooler climate. Brewery De Halve Maan explains the process behind the beer which washes down the world-class fries, chocolate and mussels found all over the city.

Bruges is easily reached from the Brussel-Zuid train station or the Brussels Airport. From a romantic suite to an apartment for a group of friends, Booking.com will make sure your stay in Bruges is a memorable one.

The Sun was out so walking, or cycling, good to do here.

The Sun was out so walking, or cycling, good to do here. Great to eat, good relaxing Cafe culture, many places to relax as you eat and drink- catering for the numerous diets or even just having a coffe or tea break and people watching - Many different things to do - from becoming a chocoholic in mintues, or gaining a Waffle Waist - all scrumptious. Walk your indulgences off in the pretty parks, or at the 'mixed' market in the morning, a few bargains to be had . It's all cleaned up gone by tea time. boat rides, pony & trap rides - small museums, seek out the unusual ones - prices of most things comparable to most Cities in Europe. Shops varied from Stylish, avant garde shops, to regular 'tourist souvenir shops. Something for all tastes, always something new to see, or shop to explore - and interesting european menus to fill in spare time.............which you will have little off - so add at least one more night to however long you are there - you will not regret it. A 'go-back to place' -

The town was very atttactive. The “best hot chocolate” shop was just that. It was wonderful! The food was good. We loved the mussel. Boat trips were fun and informative. They gave an opportunity for good photographs. Horse and carriage trips at 70 euros, were a cute way to see the town

Bruges is a fascinating town offering plenty of opportunities for shopping or dining. There are numerous excellent hotels and many streets now are pedestrianised. Tours of the town are available either by horse and carriage, open topped vehicle or even boat but the best way to explore in our opinion is on foot.

Really picturesque town with lots of great shops, eating places. Had a really nice and calm atmosphere too. I did find food places expensive however. Just spent one night which was a good amount of time, as there aren’t really specific attractions or activities and I was a solo traveller so it was a good amount of time to enjoy walking around, looking in shops and having some food. Worth a day trip also, very easy to travel from Brussels.

We loved every bit of it!

We loved every bit of it! My husband and I stayed at JT Homes in Bruges for a romantic getaway weekend (and as a birthday gift). Justin really took good care of us. We had the privilege of calling him just when we got there, and he directed us (in the pouring rain) to our parking and the apartment. What a wonderful person! He then took us to our room and we were shocked at how beautiful it was! Neat, clean and tidy, actually meticulous! Privacy galore! Everything was true according to the pics we saw! He also advised where we could eat and what we could do for the weekend. We will return in the near future! Thank so much Justin.....we appreciate everything. See you soon! Please book JT Homes without questioning it! You will not regret! Now, stop reading this and book! What are you waiting for? Jude and Roger van der Hammen, Veghel, the Netherlands.

The fascinating, well-preserved and spotlessly maintained old town of Brugge/Bruges is well worth a visit. Three nights / two full days is enough - one day to tour the town by walking, cycling and canal boat and another to visit the museums and galleries (the Brugge City Card is good value). A third day could be used to visit to visit Gent, easily accessible by train. A good range of restaurants - we ate Flemish, Italian and Thai food, coffee houses and bars. Amazingly quiet at night, even on a Saturday. Not an evident stag or hen party venue. Great for couples and families. Cars are excluded, except for access.

The room was a good size and well furnished. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful giving us excellent advice on what to do in Bruges. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is very easy to walk to all attractions. Although there is no where to park a car at the hotel, we were directed by the receptionist to the parking lot at the station which was secure, under cover, only a ten minute walk to the hotel and - best of all - extraordinarily cheap for the three days the car was parked there.

The location is wonderful. The location puts you right in the heart of the city. It is one of the most photographed hotels because it is right on the canal and next to the hotel which is in one of the scenes from the movie "In Bruges". Many, if not most, of the rooms overlook the canal. The breakfast has a good selection of cereals, breads, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausage and more. The is place to store your luggage, a hotel bar and a wonderful seating area just for guest that overlook the canal.

Location is fantastic. Steps from the center of everything. 2 streets away from a super market if you want to get snacks(small fridge in room), bottled drinks, etc (although the hotel provided bottled water every day which was REALLY appreciated in the heatwave!). The mattress was the best one of all the places I stayed in Europe (4 different hotels). great night sleep. staff was very kind, mailing postcards and getting us any information we needed. Wonderfully helpful.

It was hard to tell from the website what our room would be like, but it was AMAZING! Huge, full of old world charm, and the best bathroom and shower we found in Europe. The location couldn’t have been better, close to the action but far enough away to feel private. The breakfast that was included was the best hotel breakfast we found in Europe too. And Bruges was perfection. Can’t say enough good things, this place is wonderful.

Perfect location in the heart of Bruges. The lovely receptionist recommended (and booked) a Flemish restaurant around the corner for us (Diligence) which turned out to be the best meal we’ve ever had in Belgium!
