Great location, close to the train station and center. The room was small but perfect for one person. I did not mind the shower or the sink/ toilet. Very good water pression. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet although the window was to the railway. The breakfast was basic, cold buffet: no eggs/omlette. Good value for the money, I'd stay here again.

Entree, Hotel Adornes, and Hotel Duc De Bourgogne got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Bruges.
Bruges is a fantastic city break with lots of places of interest to visit like the churches, the Belfry Tower. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from, I’ve been twice already and I would certainly visit for a third time.
I’ve been here three or four times now, and every time is different. The weather this time was rubbish but there is more than enough to do. Go and get lost in the streets outside the main touristy bits - and find something different. I keep finding new things to make me want to go back. It’s just beautiful and historic- and has everything you could want. Just great views….and beers!
A great old town with some amazing old buildings. While not as big as Venice it is much better shape and well maintained; very clean. It was very crowded (mid summer) but no problems moving around or getting a meal. A trip on the canals is a must. The history is really interesting so well worth a visit to the museums and galleries.
The architecture (mainly Gothic in the city centre) and network of canals are a highlight of Bruges: It is extremely "chocolate-box" pretty with a small compact mediaeval city centre with the famous bell tower. It can be quite busy in Summer. Minnewater park, or the city ramparts are nice for a walk. Restaurant choice is a little difficult: The mid-price bracket is not served very well. Overall, I found it a lovely place for a short break: maybe 1 or 2 nights, as that should be enough time to stroll around to see the sights for a couple. Minnewater is a lovely space for a quiet walk.
0) Bruges is a one of the best locations to have a conference because the city itself has a dedicated office to aggressively promote conference-tourism. There are also a lot of things for your spouse to do while you are in meetings all day. 1) Bruges is a fantastic place to stay if you want to learn about lace & have a base to explore the surrounding areas relating to WW-I and -II. 2) The public transportation system should provide a pamphlet at all hotels with a simple explanation of how to use and pay for their system especially now that the train station has 'moved' and tickets are cell phone based. 3) Bruges is a good town if you work OPPOSITE of the hordes of day-tourists. You should depart when they are arriving and return when they are leaving. 4) Our favorite spots are 't Apostelientje lace museum/store, Rococo lace, Chez Albert waffles, Het Bruges Teehuis, Halve Maan brewery for supper, Delaney's Irish Pub, Ellis Gourmet Burger, Mary's Chocolates, and the Bruges Madonna. The Cambrinus is an interesting place but it is over-subscribed. Fortunately they have just opened a satellite location. 4) I really love Belgian waterzooi van kip even though the restaurant waiters seem to consider it 'too unsophisticated' a meal. 4) If you have an opportunity to visit the historical meeting chamber of the city hall, you'd better do it. Absolutely amazing. This is often handled as part of conference arrangements. 5) Breakfast opportunities don't open until the day-tourists arrive (~10am) so you probably want to pay the breakfast fee at your hotel. 6) You should watch the Hallmark Channel "Love and Chocolate" several times before you go. 7) If you want to purchase exotic beer, say Westvleteren-12, just do in town rather than driving out to the place -- it's more reliable.
Bruges is an amazing medieval city, full of history and beautiful buildings. I would 100% recommend splurging on a horse and carriage tour, this was the highlight of our short stay. The food and the beers were delicious. Our guide on the canal boat tour was funny and full of insights on the city long history. We travelled by train and foot with our 1.5yo in a big pram and had no trouble going around, restaurants and tours were very accomodating of our needs with a toddler. We only stayed 1 night and can’t wait to come back, next time we will definitely be staying longer to visit all the places of interest and museums. I would say 3-4 days are needed to really go around everywhere.
The family room was spacious and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were more than adequate for our family of 5. The room was warm. The staff were friendly and attentive, and even though we didn't partake in the breakfast, it looked as though most of the hotel patrons were really enjoying the selection. The best thing about our stay was the hotel's location to the centre of Bruges. A picturesque five minute walk and you're in the town square with everything at your fingertips.
Excellent location, right at the center of Bruges. The hotel is located in a quite area and just around the corner you can find restaurants, supermarkets, ice cream shops and etc. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff was polite and the person responsible for the breakfast was super kind.
Lovely old hotel in the historic center of Bruge. It is an easy 15 minute walk from the train/bus station. During our April visit, there was a free shuttle to the main square from the train station, which makes the walk even shorter. Staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was among the best we enjoyed on our trip.
Bruges
Best breakfast. Babs prepared a great breakfast for us every day. Homemade jam, homemade granola, fresh orange juice.... all with a lot of love. Much better than at the hotel. Quiet location of the apartment in the greenery. Not far from the water canal. 5 kilometers to Bruges.
A very nice, modern hotel. Surrounded by wonderful restaurants and right next door to the best bar in Bruges! Amazing choice on the breakfast buffet. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, helpful and professional. Would definitely stay again.
The staff was very kind! The private dining rooms were superb in times of corona and closed restaurants. Nice breakfast, excellent dining! Waking up next to the water, breakfast with a view on the canal, awesome! Walking distance from the city centre.
This city centre hotel was ideal for our overnight stay in Bruges. We were provided with secure garage parking for our bikes a few minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed a good breakfast before continuing our cycling tour
When i arrived i wanted to rate 5 stars to the hotel. The réceptionist that welcomed us was very professional and gental even she let us check in at 10 Am. for a 1 star hotel the room is verry organized and looks like new
Great location, charming small hotel in the center of Bruges with magnificent view of the canal, where was filmed "In Bruges" movie. Helpful stuff, tasty breakfast
I think the best hotel in Bruges. They extended our check out time by 2 hours and they allowed to leave our car in the parking until night of check out.
A very nice location in the center of Bruges. Helpful staff and very good breakfast for a reasonable price. Parking just next to the Hotel.
Less than 15 minutes driving from the city centre of Bruges, ideally for those who have a car and children, playing ground is amazing
the hotel was clean, room was big enough and breakfast was exceptional. location is good, 15-20 min walking to the city centre
The architecture, the interior design and the mood that the hotel has, inspiring. Best location in the old Brugge city center.
