Hotel Adornes, Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce, A Luxe Worldwide Hotel, and Hotel Bryghia got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Bruges.
Great streets and structure of houses and very nice parks. You can spend your day strolling in Brugge. It can easily be done on foot. "The Old Chocolate House" hot chocolate was delicious. Cambrinus Restaurant was superb as well. We climbed the Belfry Tower (worth it) and the basilica of the Holy Blood was great. The boat cruise was amazing! Unfortunately, many places close too early for a touristic city. We weren't able to see the chocostory museum (closes at 16:15) or the Halve Maan Brewery (closes at 18:00) Other than that, it has become one of my favorite relaxing getaways. Will visit again definitely.
I stayed for 2 nights. Probably could have stayed for a third, but this was our second out of 4 stops. I’d go back. It really is like a fairytale. We ate and drank a lot. Everything was walking distance within the main town (where we stayed). We took bikes to the windmills. Very beautiful.
Bruges is very beautiful. Daytime is beautiful but nighttime without day tourists, it is even more beautiful and serene. A must visit for chocoholics. If arriving by train with luggage, I would strongly recommend hiring a taxi for the short ride to your accommodation (we walked upon arrival but when we departed, we hired a big taxi for 8 euros, 4 persons with 5 cabin bags, June 2019). Though the distance is short, the cobblestone roads too taxing on the luggage wheels. The bus from train station only stops in the town centre.
Bruges is a well preserved example of a medieval city. Real people live there but they have to cope with ever increasing hordes of tourists. If you visit find a good local guide who can help you find the hidden places. Bruges is easily accessible by train from Brussels.
Food especially the beer around the market square is overpriced. The History of Beer museum did not impress. The Choco Factory was much more interesting. Climbing to tower top is not bad, there are a few places to rest on the way up if you have to. The best thing about Brugge is every corner you turn, you see another picturesque canal or church or square or group of buildings. The architecture is fantastic. If we had another day we would’ve done the boat tour to see it from a different perspective.
Burges is a lovely old town. Give yourself at least several days to experience it. Do a canal tour and be sure to ask at the information desk for some local restaurants that offer real authentic food.

Location was amazing, right across the canal from the town square. Our room had a canal view which was beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms were uniquely decorated - not the modern, bland look of a normal hotel. The room had been recently renovated and was very large - not something you normally get in a European hotel. And the price was completely reasonable for the facilities and location. We cannot day enough good things about this hotel and only wished we stayed longer! We loved Bruges and Hotel Die Swaene!

This place is truly magical. A full three floors to ourselves, every room immaculately decorated and maintained, gorgeous breakfast baskets, perfect location and phenomenal service and attention from the owners. Easily the best B&B I’ve stayed at, and great value for money compared to hotel prices in Bruges. Quick tip for anyone coming to stay here - the big ‘candle’ in the living room is LED and made of plastic (it lights up with a switch on the bottom), don’t try to light it with a match like we did :-P.

What a fabulous B&B - from the start the service was amazing a lovely text on arrival in Bruges letting us know best way to get to hotel. To the email with our own private check in! So simple and worked so well. Our room was amazing Autumn room 1 - it was our anniversary and we arrived to a bottle of bubbly which was a lovely touch The location was perfect just a tiny walk to the main square and the lovely Red Rose cafe! Thanks to the lovely staff for making our stay enjoyable

The location is amazing, looking out over the Christmas Market..... it is located in the heart of the square above the Central Restaurant. The clerk was amazing to us and allowed us stow our bags before and after our checkout. And I’m certain it has been updated, best shower I had in Belgium.... hot water with a tall shower head. My only suggestion, is that with a great/busy location, expect to hear street noise, nothing some noise cancelling headphones can’t solve. :)

The hotel staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. This hotel was excellent value for money if you are trying to visit Bruges on a budget. It was roughly a 12 minute drive to the city centre. Our rooms and the hotel in general was clean and tidy. We ate at the restaurant on our first night and I definitely recommend the steak with salad and fries. It was fantastic! Overall a nice hotel outside of Bruges but you will definitely need a car as it is very isolated.

The room has good size, the bed is very big. The location is excellent, the route from the hotel to the city center is probably one of the most beautiful walks you can take in Bruges. Even though is not in the very heart of the city there are some excellent restaurants just across the street and the bus from the train station has a stop just outside the hotel. The breakfast is excellent. The view at the canal very beautiful. Overall a really good choice

Hotel is located walking distance away from all main Bruges attractions. Ambiance in the lobby is really nice with some chilling area, stuff is really helpful, upfront special requests were well accepted, our room on third floor was nice size & clean & quite and breakfast was great! If arriving with car, I would recommend to reserve private parking (15 EUR per day), very limited parking lots!

It was a cozy B&B that was a 15 minute walk from Bruges train station and a 5 minute walk to the square. The staff (Bika?) was incredible. She is so passionate about Belgium history and culture and informative on spots the locals love to eat and drink. The breakfast was awesome! When I come back to Bruges, I’m coming back here!
