Brugge is a wonderful city to visit, stay and explore.
Brugge is a wonderful city to visit, stay and explore. People are great, service wherever we went was excellent. Everyone was helpful and willing to engage and advise as required. I can honestly say this was probably the best city experience I've ever had. In 4 days we did not hear one Police siren or see arguments or disagreements.

Bruges was an idealistic medieval town, beautiful, historic building, friendly people and the Frites museum was worth every penny. I would say you only need 2-3 days at most to get what you need. Don't let it have you miss out on more interesting cities like Ghent or Brussels but I think everyone should see it at least once. One of the most picturesque places I've ever seen.

Bruges is very interesting if you like big old buildings , we loved looking up and inside some of them. Lots of cobbles - flat footwear advised .
Also take an umbrella or coat because when it rains you'll need one - it won't just be a little shower.
You'll need eyes everywhere to miss getting run over by an electric car, bikes or horses. No road markings so it's a free for all!!
Restaurants/bars are quite expensive compared to the UK. We had a good look around and found a couple that were quite reasonable, good service and food was good.

The location of hotel was perfect, close to city center, shops and train station and the view was amazing, but in the bathroom there wasn't shower holder and we had to hold shower by hand. And bathroom's ceiling was low and it wasn't possible to stand in bathtub, so we had to sit and had a shower, it was very uncomfortable.

Poor weather did not spoil sightseeing, even on a canal trip. Would recommend a casual stroll around the historic centre and visit the two main churches. For a taste of wonderful Flemish cooking, try the Restaurant Chagall .

Fairytale city, beautiful architecture everywhere, many places of interest, lovely shops for various retailing opportunities. Stay longer as you have the city to yourself to explore before the day trippers arrive later in the morning. The city is the jewel in Belgiums crown.
Very warm welcome, excellent B&B, short 5 minute walking distance from both parking garage (with electric car charger, which is always a challenge in Belgium!) and city centre. Best breakfast ever and great stories on some of the vintage finds om display. Room with luxere, big bath was very clean, coffee machine in the room, mini fridge with cold drinks in the hall. Can’t think of anything that would have improved the stay. They even have a happy little dog that greets you every morning as you come down 😊
The location of the hotel is fabulous, only a short walk from the wonderful old town of Bruges and actually next door to the brand new conference center, so it's equally ideal for business and leisure.
Also, the hotel was obviously refurbished recently, so all the amenities are state-of-the-art, and the staff kept the place perfectly clean.
The hotel is extremely nice and well taken care off. It is ideally located in the old center of Bruges and has a wonderful garden with terrace. The Residence is in a very quite street just around the corner from the main hotel building.
