Location was perfect! The host answered our messages very promptly and was very accommodating. The outside photo from the river is green building directly below Citadel. Gorgeous view of the river. Extremely short walk to Cathedral and Citadel lift. We found the bed to be most comfortable.

Perfect location on a quiet side street 1/2 block from the river with convenient parking. Fantastic patio and garden entrance. Very intimate. We sat outside both nights under the flowered canopy with attractive lighting. close to everything.
This apartment is not large and it’s a little funky with the bathroom upstairs but it more than makes up for it with charm, convenience and a relaxing feeling. We feel very fortunate that we stayed here.

Very interesting place, with a spectacular fortress on a high cliff; impressive architecture; the Lefe beer museum is a little more commercialised than I like; the cave Grotte La merveilleuse is impressive. There are several castles and castle ruins around from different historical periods. Great place to visit! Kayaking and rock climbing is also a thing here, although it's not our cup of tea.

Beautifull small village in a very nice location. The castle offers a nice experience and you can have good food in Dinant. There are a lot of short excursions you can have starting from Dinant. A very nice destination for a short vacation.

went for a weekend to explore, beautiful place. the one ticket that includes the cable car, tour of the citadel and then the boat trip is a bargain, next time Ill choose the 2hr boat trip instead of the 45 minutes, so relaxing. lots of resteraunts to choose from although it pays to book ahead in the evenings. the town itself is very clean and tidy, no rubbish anywhere.CLIVE FORDUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

The covered parking (private garage with an electric roller-shutter door) was really helpful to us as we had an SUV with a roof-box and the vehicle fitted in to the garage easily. Good communications from the owner and a very nice apartment. Note: The stairs are steep so someone with mobility issues may have problems - suggest you discuss with owner if this could be a concern. And there are some easy walks around the property. Lots of rocks for climbing and I also saw some people canoeing. Also there are lots of things to do in and around Dinant. If you like shopping go to ‘La Crécelle’ a cute shop in the centre. Visit the interactive museum about Adolph Sax. And make sure you go to the caves! We parked in Dinant at the Interparking in de centre - good location and we could pay by card.

The staff at the reception and the bar were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was extremely clean and warm. It was very comfortable as well. The sauna was a very nice addition and the balcony was overlooking a beautiful tree-lined road/small forest. The breakfast was tasty and varied. The location is 8 mins walk away from the train station, and right next to the center of Dinant walking. The tour of Maison Leffe inside the hotel was also interesting.

Turn right out of the Cottage here is a lovely walk along the river towards a vineyard. Dinant center is a 5 min drive or a 20 min walk. The cottage is a great retreat and has really comfy beds.
