This is a well appointed and spacious apartment in the lovely Vineyards spar resort. Situated under 20 minutes from Burgas airport. The resort is beautifully maintained and quietly situated away from the bustle of Sunny Beach, but still within easy travelling distance. We are 15 minutes from the ancient town of Nesebar. The Resort comprises of a series of garden areas linking the various apartments. There are two lovely swimming pools, a restaurant, snack bar, a children's play area, grocers, and pool side bar. The spa is modelled on a Thracian dwelling – in keeping with the interesting history of the site. The apartment comprises a family bathroom, a large bedroom, and a large open plan dining/living area with an offset kitchen area. There is also a covered balcony with countryside and sea views and table and chairs. The furniture and fittings are modern and tasteful. The bedroom contains a split large double bed which can be used either as two singles or one large double. The living area contains a comfortable double sofa bed. (suitable for one adult or two children.). A travel cot is available. Ample free parking and 24 hour security.
A sequence of unexpected events recently led us to reassess our lives as a busy professional couple. Studies show that a common death bed regret is to not pursue one’s dreams. Though doing this was the last thing on our minds (I was a social worker and my husband ran his own business as a Project Manager in the building trade) we were forced to reappraise our motivations and goals at the age of fifty six. What did we want from life? Was it really a new conservatory? More debt, more stress? We had owned a property in Bulgaria for a number of years and decided to leave the proverbial rat race and move here for good. We now live in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains (in a house that cost us less than the conservatory!) where we attempt to grow and preserve our own food. We have 5 rescue dogs and 4 cats. I have started to write a blog and my husband also busies himself with DIY. We also spend a lot of time looking after guests who like to visit. We have lots of friends and love everything about this wonderful country. I have a visual impairment.
The Vineyards is a tranquil oasis surrounded by open countryside. it Stands alone from the noise and bustle of the main town of Sunny Beach. It is an ideal location for a family or couples holiday, close to all of the amenities that the Black Sea coast has to offer, but without the noise and overcrowding. The ancient town of Nessabar is within a short distance by car; there is also ample public transport and a very good taxi service. The resort is actually built on the site of an ancient battleground. The battle was between the Byzantine army and the Bulgarian army and took place on the 20th August 917, with the Bulgarian army defeating the Byzantine army. There is a near by winery that has a section telling you all about the battle. There are plenty of car hire companies in Burgas and Sunny Beach, some of which will deliver cars to the Vineyards. Car hire here is usually very affordable. If you prefer public transport, there is a bus stop at the end of the access road to the Vineyards (the stop is Green and just to the left of the entrance). The buses run about every 20 minutes. There is also a shuttle service from the Vineyards by prior arrangement.
