On arrival the reception area was welcoming and everything was explained to us. The pool is the best area of the hotel and isn’t always packed so you can get a bed at any time of the day.

Everything exceeded our expectations, from the hosts who were very welcoming, kind and always looking to make our stay the best experience ever, we also stayed with Bailey, our furry child, who was also very welcomed. The breakfast was diverse and fresh, great coffee and the dinner was always good and tasty, big portions including local and international dishes. We definitely we’ll be coming back!

The sea is only a few feet away, the place is quiet so that one can hear the sea from the balcony in the evening. Also, very close to the castle and gardens.
Nice staff. Good breakfast even if the selection of food isn't much.

Ok for 2 nights. Beyond it becomes repetitive and very boring. Beaches in Balchik are very poor, but you can find places by car around. Suitable for elders and family with kids for short stays. Castle worth visiting once. They impose a ticket for the botanical garden and this is not ok plus it is high hill and most don t visit it however pay is mandatory making the costs doubble. Promenada is nice but becomes boring as is is very small. Recommended as pass through drstination for 1-2 nights with beach option around Balchick. Area is ok for golfers however other accomodations are to be considered.

Balcik is a town very well placed on the Black Sea coast and with a very old history.
The coastline is beautiful, clean, with many hotels, restaurants and taverns.
There are many small beaches where you can enjoy the sun and the sea.
There is a promenade road along the seashore to the resort of Albena (approx. 9 km) but close to Albena the road has collapsed for a length of 1-2 km and must be traveled carefully.
There are also certain things that I did not like, such as:
- the amount of EURONET ATMs that charge generous commissions regardless of the amount withdrawn. That's why I suggest withdrawing cash from the existing ATMs inside the banks and not from the ATMs on the street;
- although the Botanic Garden is an objective of great attraction, it is managed by unprepared, arrogant, deceitful staff. The tickets are expensive, you can only pay in cash and after you have bought it, you have to buy another one for another purpose, which seemed to me nothing but a scam;
- there are many public (free) parking spaces arranged by the municipality, but they are permanently blocked by certain individuals with cones, to force you to park in private parking lots.
I wish you a pleasant holiday!

Balchik is a pleasant town with a nice promenade.
Balchik is a pleasant town with a nice promenade. Even in the off-season, there were several restaurant choices. Interesting things to see nearby include the Botanical Gardens, Kaliakra Cape, and Varna (Roman Thermae, large park, several museums).

i wouldn't go the second time. a bunch of crooks. parking in the street is not possible not bc there r no spots but bc they r blocked by the owner of the parking lots so u don't have a choice but to park in the parking lots and pay 2$ an hr .also the visiting of the palace of regina maria its a rip off it cost to get with the car in 22$ a person and its not much to see for that price. To get to the beach u have to pay an entrance. the food and service at most restaurants stink.in parts of the city where u can park in the street the way to pay is by text message but u have to have a local phone nr which u don't and then the app is done u only have the choice of paying for 24 h /6$ .also the instruction for parking has a sticker in top of the instruction with a QR that a ripof and that's with the help of the authority cause those stickers r on all instruction thru out the city and the city doesnt do any eforts to remove them .conclusion not the second time for me .too bad cause its a place with a lot of potential
The hotel was very nice, the swimming pool area was clean and silent. The inside spa area very cozy and relaxing. You could go to the beach by minivan provided by the hotel, they were always on time and no one was ever left behind if space was not enough, more vans would be sent. The food was good, varied, plenty of options to choose from. In the evenings you could enjoy the music and a drink, or have a walk around the big complex, was a safe area.
The host was a great one, always ready to help. We chose a sea side view with no air conditioner as the hotel has both options and to make us more comfortable he gave us the only fan in reception. Also, he helped me with the car and made sure all is good.
