I think it is impossible to believe there is a place really like your own home in other country. Do not.search for other if you are travel alone and looking beyond accommodtion but home. I was got sick for first two days here and Gil and his wife Anna, look after me like their own family member. I felt so touched and make me so sad to say good bye to this my new family in my life. I couldn't find a word to express my gratitude to Gil and Anna. We watched nexflix together, breakfast, lunch, dinner, shopping and beaches too. This is one of the best real local.experience during my travel. I plan to stay for 3-4 days and end it up for 11 days in Rio because of Shamanic Home. Again thank YOU and I missed you both already. See you again sometime and somehwere.

Gil made me feel completely at home. It's like you're visiting your favorite uncle in Rio de Janeiro. He has created a space in the middle of Ipanema that is peaceful, fun and comfortable. It is a place where you want to hang out, but at the same time it's close to everything you need. The beds and bathroom are comfortable, as well as the couches in the living room. I loved the whole experience and would definitely stay again when I return to Rio!

I had a wonderful time at Shamanic Home. It is very well located, a few minutes walk to the beach and to the metro. The building is safe. Gilberto is a great host, always available to help, answer any questions or just have a little chat. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is just amazing. I would recommend this place over and over and will come back :)

The location is wonderful, a short walk to the beach from of Ipanema. A busy neighbour full of shops and restaurants, all that you need. I felt very safe. The house was clean and spacious. 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms, a wonderful kitchen and the bed was very comfortable. The best property I have ever stayed in whilst travelling
