The Refuge is in a lovely peaceful location with beautiful views across the St Lawrence. There’s a deck out front to relax and enjoy the views and listen to the rushing stream nearby. There’s also a fully enclosed BBQ area which is great in the evenings to avoid insect attacks. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery plus a decent range of cooking appliances. Jacques was lovely and gave us a very warm welcome and a very thorough run through of all the property’s features.

Room is large, clean, design for the family room is practical. The staff is friendly and helpful
Nice and quiet little village. The only thing that gets me everytime is that basically all the restaurants are closed as of 9pm so don’t arrive there late if you haven’t eaten. Otherwise amazing cute little town.

Great in a lot of way!!!
Great in a lot of way!!! Like the nearby walks, the art galleries, was near a lot of attractions, everything was either a short walk of a short/moderate drive.
The only drawback is the food--the restaurants were extremely expensive and the food there was at best so so. On one evening I ended up with some serious indigestion. There are lots of nearby grocery stores, though, with lots of variety at pretty reasonable cost.

Thanks to Regis, an affable, generous and most entertaining host and charming Anne Marie for making our stay comfortable and smooth. And yes, the breakfast much like the room we stayed in is impeccable and well thought out.

Lovely town surrounded by gorgeous scenery - especially in the Fall! Streets are lined with well-restored, historic houses and eateries (especially Joe's Smoked Meat!). Lots of galleries and local artwork (at the pricey end) and super-easy for strolling around and riverside walks.

Baie St Paul is a small town packed with wonderful art galleries with art from mostly local artists. I have already bought 2 paintings over the years from an artist who lives not far from the town of Baie St Paul. After seeing his work, I called him and he invited me to see his work in his home. How friendly is that!

The interior was nicely decorated and the beds were super comfortable.
We booked there because we were traveling with a dog. The property was large and pleasant to walk with her.
The restaurant called 'The Gourmet' truly is. We were very impressed with the food.
The best surprise of all was a lovely spa in the hotel, with a very talented professional masseuse. I had a much-needed treatment I wasn't able to fit in at home.
Comfortable apartment where we were able to park our car and walk everywhere. It was 2 blocks to the downtown dining area, 1 block from the gelato store, and across the street from the trail that leads to the beach. I was also 4 block from a great grocery store. The area outside the apartment was green and nice to sit in. We enjoyed the spa after long hikes in the national park.
Very cozy, situated on a street with many terrasses, boutiques and art galleries.
The auberge also has their own restaurant which serves delicious plates from the French cuisine.
In the backyard they have plenty of chairs to relax and chill with your friends and family in their beautiful garden.
The location is very good, and close to all the great restaurants. The breakfast was included and excellent. Our host Mishka was very nice and helpful in every way. There is a nice porch and bar to relax outside, overlooking the main street.
The host was gracious. The Auberge offers quiet comfort. Breakfast (for an additional price) was excellent and well worth it. Our host also packed a lunch for us to take along on the next leg of our journey.
