To understand where we came from the idea of ​​the name Pinsons des Rives, you must first know that we are a late thirties that does not come directly from the hotel and restaurant industry, far from that ! We have both worked in recent years in environment, the Dudette for the government and the Dude in forest ecology research. We have traveled in a few countries, together and in our previous lives. Lastly, we went five months and it was during this trip that we decided that we wanted to have our own hostel, to be able to welcome people coming from everywhere. We had made a blog for our friends and the family called Les Pinsons Voyageurs to share a little of all the wonders that we saw, that we lived. You can always take a look if you need some inspirations for your next trip... So here, the flying finches landed at the shore house, and that gave Les Pinsons des Rives!

Les Pinsons des Rives wants to be a small inn that welcomes both travelers and passersby for a coffee, a drink, a bite, a board game, a night, two nights, etc! All in an environment conducive to discussion, fun, relaxation, reflection, creativity, but simply, unpretentious. On the ground floor you will find a small bistro. Our menu reflects our world and we will try to offer you dishes and drinks in which you will find herbs, flowers and non-wood forest products as much as possible! We love exploring and discovering new flavors, and want to share these discoveries with you. Do not miss the river view from our veranda. In summer, a small terrace will also be available. On the other two floors, there are 8 rooms available to accommodate short or long-term travelers. They all have a private bathroom and 4 of them have a view of the river. We sincerely hope you enjoy your stay with us! Our door is wide open!

In the street less than 5 min walk, besides our bistro, you can eat in different restaurants. You can also enjoy the edge of the St. Lawrence River by walking. Casino de Charlevoix and golf course less than 1 km from our house. Mont Grand-Fonds is located only15 minutes by car, the Hautes-Gorges National Park is only 50 minutes and Tadoussac at 1:15.
