The staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast wasn’t vast but good enough for me. Location beside Save on Foods was a positive but also not far from homeless encampment negative. Pet friendly (which is why we stayed there).

A very beautiful ambiance although it is clear that the town has had some serious economic challenges that it hasn't recovered from. It could desperately use some industrial diversification. Tourism is wonderful and Prince Rupert certainly has a lot to sell in that regard; scenery, history, art and culture. Unfortunately that does not lend itself to a resilient community. For having one of the world's best natural ports it seems to be profoundly unappreciated by the rest of our community. I would certainly enjoy returning to P.R. in about ten years to see how they have grown.

Prince Rupert is a costal city in British Colombia.
Prince Rupert is a costal city in British Colombia. Ferry docks here fro Vancouver Island, Queen Charolette Islands and Alaska. The historic Cow Bay is a must to go see and shop. Stop by Smiles Seafood restaurant for fresh fish meals that are to die for. The cafe is very old but you will not be disappointed in the food. Their clam chowder is full of sea food and very very good. Thats the creamy one. We have never had the red one but am sure it would be great as well. I had halibut fish and chips. The city has many shopping places .

We went for the train ride.
We went for the train ride. The city has clearly gone down since last we were there: buildings gone; buildings burnt but not gone; buildings falling. Not quite Detroit but getting there. The cruise ship end of town with restaurants was still good but on the whole the city has not aged well.

Prince Rupert is beautiful!
Prince Rupert is beautiful! I loved the clouds and mists, the smell of the ocean and the forests, the friendliness of everyone I met. I would love to stay longer next time and do some hiking in the area. There just wasn’t enough time to do everything Prince Rupert has to offer.

Had dinner at Breakers and the food was excellent, and grabbed a coffee at Cowpaccino, also excellent. Popped into a couple shops, but since it was off season will revisit the area in order to take in the museum and any other seasonal offerings. Crest Hotel is walking distance to all amenities.
The motel is located on the main road from the ferry and is a welcome sight at midnight. An awning protected us from the rain as we got our luggage out that night and repacked in the morning. Breakfast is not included in the price, but is served in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel and is served with large portions of delicious food. We would stay here again.
The room was very large, clean, and comfortable. It also had a balcony to overlook the water. Although places in the hotel looked as if they were under renovation, the room we were in had already been renovated and was very nice. There was a restaurant in the hotel, but I believe it was only opened for breakfast. We did have breakfast there and it was good.
This hotel surpassed our expectations. It was comfortable, clean, the staff were SO accommodating and friendly. The view from our room was nice and we appreciated having the desk in the room to work from. The microwave and fridge were perfect too, plus the room size felt big. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Prince Rupert.
Andrea was very friendly and made us feel right at home. She also provides an excellent hot breakfast with lots of choices. The rooms were large and comfortable with just about everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Very accommodating for late arrivals and early departures for the Prince Rupert-Port Hardy ferry. Dog friendly.
The Crest is magnificently situated overlooking Prince Rupert harbour. The restaurants were fabulous and the food beautifully prepared.
We loved the ambience of the hotel and the refined elegance of the furnishings. The staff are all extremely helpful and welcoming.
Very convenient location. Next door to a grocery store with restaurants and some shopping nearby. The staff are extremely kind and helpful with information about Prince Rupert. The free light breakfast was a great extra.
This place is old and beaten up. There was construction going on and a late night party in one of the rooms at 1:30 AM was irritating to say the least. Loved the staff, and people associated with the hotel.
This was a good value compared to many other bed and breakfast hotels. The cleanliness was very good. The kitchen was well stocked and I appreciated the coffee every morning. The breakfast was exceptional
Amazing host!! Breakfast was super great and fresh! Loved it!! The atmosphere was relaxed and we felt right at home. We will be back to stay again and again if we are back in Prince Rupert for sure!!
Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean and our stay was relaxing, thanks! Nidon, the hotel representative, was very upbeat and friendly, we enjoyed talking to him 👍
the property was in an ideal location for those getting off the Port Hardy - Prince Rupert ferry. Staff checked us in efficiently. The room was clean and comfortable.
