Comfortable bed Staff extremely rigid. Asked for late checkout for one hour and was advised that I would incur an extra night stay if so. Then asked too check out 15 mins late at 12:15pm and again was informed would have to pay an extra night stay. At 1155am, also received phone call asking why we were not downstairs!

The hotel room was very clean. Despite having read many reviews - we were unaware that the Hotel was located next to a huge sex shop which served as a magnet for prostitutes soliciting business throughout the day and night. The surrounding streets were very loud as a result. Moreover, the walls connecting the rooms were very thin, which was rather annoying.

Great breakfast - all what you need plus even fresh melon and pinapple. Very good location - short walking distance to the trainstation and also the central streets are like 7-10 minutes walking through the bridge. Clean room, tea set is included, all shower things in the bathroom.. I would say its less about the hotel and more about surroundings - lots of sex shops etc. and since the walls of the hotel have very poor sound isolation (you can easily hear the water flowing from the neighbours) some people shouting on the streets in the night (what happened almost every night) wake you up at once!

The staff are good in general. The night receptionist is really nice, helped us greatly in activities during the day and night. Near the area of prostitution, but no problems during the day is calm. To avoid the area, just turn left when leaving the hotel. The neighborhood is dangerous between 2 am and 6 am, avoided as much as possible.

Quiet, yet great location with easy walk to lake, train, shopping and sights.Very comfy bed, well-equipped spotless rooms, fabulous breakfast buffet included in price, extremely reasonable long-distance rates. Loved that it was 100% non-smoking. The staff were all wonderful--willing to go above and beyond for any request. This hotel is a great find and very reasonably priced in a city that is known for being very expensive.

- Location was very good and very near from railway station ( 5 min walk) - very good breakfast - its in the middle of the new town which is more active than old town. The elevator was very small ( 2 parsons capacity )!!! And it's very slow.

By Geneva standards good value. Breakfast is good. Handy location (although in the red-light district, which some may find off putting) There are some shady looking characters on the surrounding streets and the hotel is on the edge of the red-light district,

Basic hotel, good staff, down town Geneva close to shops Both booking.com and the hotel site must clearly mention that it is right in the middle of the Red District of Geneva in the middle of Sex shops. It was very embarassing for me to take my wife and find out this info suddenly.

This hotel is ideally placed for the train station, it is just a short walk to the lake. The staff are helpful and polite we were pleasantly surprised to be given a free public transport ticket for the duration of our stay. Fresh flowers and large bowls of fruit / sweets in addition to a clean stylish interior were impressive. Fabulous continental breakfast.

The reception staff were lovely and extremely helpful. For the price we paid for this hotel, I thought the hotel was wonderful value. The hotel had a nice feel to it which was generated by the reception staff; breakfast was excellent and the overall experience was excellent value for money, especially as Geneva is so expensive.

Excellent breakfast, helpful staff Very poor lighting in the room. Hard to read a book or newspaper except in the toilet or shower room where the light was good. The lampshades are too dark. The long life light bulbs were probably of too low a power to adequately light the room.
