Le Grand Chalet is situated above, but easy walking distance, to Gstaad Village. It has spectacular views, an outstanding restaurant, lovely spacious rooms with balconies, and best of all the most welcoming and kind staff.

Location, and service. A wonderful spacious room, with a stunning view. we would wake up early every morning excited to be in the balcony. Clean facility, and great catering. The staff made the stay memorable. they would book Resturaunt’s, drive us up and down to downtown, lights our fireplace, recommend attractions, to name a few things they did. Very nice staff. It was like a quintessential old fashioned stay at the Le Grand Chalet. Loved the idea of the evening news and a chocolate. Food is awesome and a must try. The walk down to the town center was like a perfect morning/ evening walk. Kudos to the team. Thanks for the hospitality.

We loved our stay at Le Chalet!! The location is superb, close to the village but also high on the hill with an amazing mountain view. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Carol at the front desk helped us with our many asks. She helped us hire a ski instructor in a very short notice, and so caringly asked us how we enjoyed our first ever ski lessons on our return. They accomodated a late check out which made all the difference as we were able to freshen up before hitting the road on our last day. The ambiance and decor of the hotel and the room were so pretty and cozy. We tried the restaurant a few times and the quality of the food and the service were phenomenal. Le grand chalet was a fabulous 10/10 stay which we would love to come back to!

It was our second time a this hotel- the staff were lovely as always. The hotel lobby and restaurant were recently renovated and it looks beautiful. The rooms are a good size. Nice balconies with lovely views. Bathrooms feel recently updates and clean and fresh. The restaurant is well known and the food is excellent. The breakfast spread is really really good. Feels very homey.
