Great location, nice staff, clean, and I had no real problems.

location was great to the train and the Basel Watch Fair

It was too warm and they did not turn the air on so with the windows open only it was too loud to sleep-

Location is great near Zurich HB. Rooms are modern, well furnished and clean. Spacious bathroom

Price is high but normal for Zurich. Breakfast is very poor !!!!! Very few cheese and coldcut...

Convenient location near City centre and train station

My first good impression was at the reception. Our rooms were not ready, so they upgraded us to other rooms so we could place our loggages and relax.

In fact, there was nothing we did not like.

Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast included. Location in old Zurich was great for restaurants and shopping. Staff were very helpful

Location!!! Very. very close to the main train station in Zurich. From there it's less than 15 minutes to the Zurich airport. Breakfast is included in the price, which was very nice. Also, on the website of the hotel it says there is a charge for wifi??!!! BUT, I used it the whole time I stayed at the hotel (two days) and I wasn't charged. The man at the front desk told me that in Feb 2013 free internet would be in the whole hotel, so that's a good thing.

I did not sleep well both the nights I was there. I'm not sure if it was the bed. I thought it felt pretty comfortable. But one thing is for sure. The room was HOT. When I checked in, the heat was on FULL BLAST. It was Jan. when I was there, so a bit cold outside, but not freezing by any means. I kept the window open, but people smoking on the street below my window was pleasant at all.

I have been staying at the Hotel Rutli for at least the last 15 years. the hotel staff is friendly, especially Cathy who is in attendance at breakfast. The location of the hotel is brilliant, a cassual 10 minutes walk from the main train station in the centre of the old city. I will always come back when visiting Zurich.

WiFii. It seems very poor not to have that service in the room and to require a new code every day. This will make me look for another hotel next time

The location was really superb - right opposite the railway station (across the bridge), close to Starbucks and the whole street of restaurants, yet fairly quiet. The room has a free capsule coffee machine, so you can warm yourself up any time you want. Graffiti-filled bedroom was an interesting touch, if that's your thing.

Lack of free WiFi is really unforgiveable in this age, no matter how "budget" the hotel is.There's a free Internet terminal downstairs but do you really want to type your passwords on someone else's machine? Receptionists didn't know the answers for some city-related questions I asked, and didn't bother trying to help me research (which would be much easier for them to do rather than me; they should know German). That isn't a big problem though, city infodesk is right next to the hotel in the railway station.

Room was modern and brand new Staff were friendly and helpful The pub across the road served real beer - boddingtons

Very good location, few steps from the train station and all other sightseeings (old town, etc) Nice breakfast and rooms were very good, clean and comfortable. Good service and smiley receptionists, I could say is good value for money considering the cost in Switzerland.

Internet comes at a cost, one pc down at reception available but could not get on as others using it.

Excellent location, perfect to discover the beautiful town of Zurich! The room was very nice, clean, silent, moderne and big. The staff is kind and the breakfast very good.

No parking and no discount for the piblic parking that is very expensive
