    A nice seaside resort with clean beaches and a lovely coffee shop SPR coffee which was right near the beach so very convenient. Serves food as well as drinks. One can also order take away and get it delivered to the beach - delivery comes in good time. Sea was nice for swimming and people around & security guards very friendly and helpful

    Yantai is a beautiful City of both modern and old-style...

    Yantai is a beautiful City of both modern and old-style history and culture. If I was a student looking to study at University, I would choose Yantai. The University areas are amazing and modern. The seafront is really beautiful, safe and comfortable to walk along. There are many hotels there, but many along the seafront overlooking the sea have been closed down. That was a shame! Easy to get around the area but finding a taxi can be a problem and so expect long delays to get one! The shopping malls were amazing and so modern as you would expect. It was a beautiful and interesting walk around the Lighthouse area near the seafront. Plenty of museums to see if you have the time. To see the main Temples and scenic mountain area tourist spots, you really need to plan in advance as they can take up a one day trip alone. Shame I never had time to visit all. But my impression of Yantai was a great place to visit and even live there. Especially if you are looking to retire.

    As a client of the hotel, you can use a very big gym and a swimming pool in another building next to the hotel. Even the hotel is not beach front, it's quite easy to get to the beach, about 10 min drive.
