If there are cuts during your stay, we will inform you in advance so you can prepare. Additionally, we provide these water-saving tips: Always close faucets when not in use, even for short periods, such as while shampooing, brushing teeth, washing kitchen utensils, or shaving. Opt for showers instead of baths, as showers use 50% less water. A 3-5 minute shower saves approximately 3,500 liters per month. Collect water from the faucet while waiting for it to heat up and reuse it for watering plants, mopping floors, hand washing clothes, etc. Use household appliances efficiently: run the washing machine, dishwasher, and similar appliances only when fully loaded. The area is made up mostly of two-storey traditional houses, boutiques, bars, cafés and restaurants, with tree-lined avenues. The streets are quiet compared to other parts of the city, making it a lovely area to walk the dog or go out with kids. It’s located just north of Chapinero, to the west of the chic Rosales neighborhood and to the south of the exclusive El Nogal neighborhood. Although strictly it’s not part of Bogota’s Zona G (Gourmet Zone), it should be, because it has a fabulous selection of restaurants. Quinta Camacho is full of charm. It achieves a balance between being a friendly neighborhood you’d want to live in, without being prohibitively expensive like some of the surrounding neighborhoods. I’d say this is one of the safer areas of Bogota (though like anywhere in the city you should always take a reasonable amount of care).
