Close to caldera port. Generous spaces inside and convenient parking outside. Excellent breakfast and excellent restaurant for other meals. Great espresso coffee. Good air conditioning. We would definitely stay again.

Great Hotel, great restaurant, great location. Owner taking care himself; very friendly and supportive staff/ team. Absolutely value for money. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Ask for #9 with an ocean/ inlet view. Food is delicious, the menu provides a variety of fish, seafood, meat dishes. Lunch as good as dinner. Good breakfast (included) too. Coffee/ Espresso machine is magnificent. The restaurant is open towards the waterfront - amazing view. I will definitely return there. Thanks again to Lastro and his team.

We had a big, beautiful room with a large balcony over the water. The hotel is a few minutes drive from Puerto Caldera and we were offered a ride over to catch our ship, which we were not expecting. Be sure to eat in the restaurant, the seafood is delicious! Breakfast was also very good.

The hotel and restaurant overlook a body of water. Very clean and spacious room, welcoming staff, great food at the restaurant and delicious breakfast is included. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the water. The only negative is that large trucks go by all night on the bridge across the water. But using the A/C and earplugs makes that go away.

Very friendly people. The upper hallway has an open end with seating looking out over the ocean. The dining room also had an open end looking over the ocean. Very pleasant. The food was good. We needed transportation to our ship the last day and they gave us a ride and refused payment.

This is truly a hidden little gem in a non touristy town near Puntarenas. I had booked it just as a stopover between the airport and Arenal. What a wonderful surprise. A cozy clean property right on the water with a great and inexpensive restaurant. This is not the lap of luxury. But the place and the staff ooze friendliness and warmth. Great seafood too! Pura Vida!

This little hotel sits on the Calderas Port. Most rooms have a nice balcony that look over the port. Although I don’t remember booking one of these rooms with a balcony, because few people were here, they gave us a nicer room. Really nice. The people running the hotel are amazingly kind and helpful. The restaurant below the hotel is very nice. I bit pricey but very convenient as the hotel seems to be pretty isolated (walking distance) to anything. All in all…extremely nice overnight stay. We would definitely consider a return here someday.

Lovely room overlooking the river, with patio. Fabulous service and food in the family run restaurant. Asked for extra pillows which the delightful Kenneth got immediately, only here for 1 night before driving to catch the Ferry.
