Cherry Tree Cottage is only 13 minutes by frequent bus service from the Golden City of Prague, in a rural hamlet called Černý Vůl. With 200 square metres of living space inside Cherry Tree Cottage and a large mature child friendly garden and swimming pool outside, Cherry Tree Cottage provides an ideal relaxing location for family and group holidays. The Cottage is immediately adjacent to open countryside and takes its name from the local cherry orchards. Although a single Cottage building, Cherry Tree Cottage was built in 2 acoustically separated halves as a recording studio for foreign language film dubbing. So it has two front doors and two kitchens. Open the connecting door and you have a single large family Cottage. Close the connecting door and you have two separate family homes! This arrangement has provided privacy to newlyweds sharing the Cottage with their friends and to grandparents on holiday with their family for example. There is a delightfully equipped children’s playground only 200 metres from the Cottage
We moved to Prague as a family in 1995, and in 2003 found such a lovely house in such a perfect location that we could not resist buying it. It was Conifer Cottage. It did not take long to discover that the village of Černý Vůl is full of amazing people and a vibrant community spirit. We saw Cherry Tree Cottage nearby, realised how well it would complement Conifer Cottage, and purchased that too. Apple Tree Villa is situated between Conifer Cottage and Cherry Tree Cottage. The owner became a close friend, and so we now rent all three Cottages to holidaymakers. Being able to offer three Cottages so close together allows us to accommodate all sorts of Groups, such as an orchestra of 34 accordion players, and a school group of 57! And many happy couples have chosen it as the location for their perfect Wedding
Cherry Tree Cottage is located in a rural hamlet called Černý Vůl, connected in only 13 minutes by frequent buses 316 and 356 to Prague City Metro "A" Line which provides immediate access to all the Key Tourist Attractions of Prague. The "A" Line 2nd stop is Prague Castle, 3rd stop is Charles Bridge, 4th stop Old Town Square, 5th stop Wenceslas Square and the 6th stop is National Museum The atmosphere in Černý Vůl is relaxed rural and friendly. There are many community events such as folk music night evenings in the local pubs. The pub restaurants serve delicious traditional Bohemian dishes accompanied by excellent beers, all at low prices. Within walking distance is the local pub restaurant, a quality international restaurant, a 1710 brewery winery family restaurant and a sports pub restaurant. The area is excellent for walking and bicycling with plenty of lovely countryside to explore including Tiché Údolí Silent Valley National Park. In addition to the children's playground 200 metres away, an exciting Forest Adventure Playground is a 2km country walk away, all of which is available free of charge
