Hotel Waldstein  

Staff were great, but our accomodation in the adjacent build really needs to be cleaned properly. The courtyard was littered with bird shit. the ashtray was filled water and floating cigarette debris. The place needed a good sweeping and swabbing, and the lovely fern needs to be cared for. Some plants in the courtyard could make quite lovely rather than its current dismal state. the other side of the suite opened on to the clearing and cooking area that was always noisy. so little effort could mke it so much better. good luck, Bill Montevecchi

I would have to describe our room at Hotel Waldstein as "funky." It was a converted attic room but plenty of headroom and lots of space -- a master bedroom, kitchenette with table and 4 chairs, another bed in the open room set up, and a large bathroom. The furniture was old but all solid wood and interesting. It was on the 3rd etage and we had to walk up, but the desk clerk took most of our luggage up. Somebody accustomed to high end hotels would not like Hotel Waldstein; we loved it. The location could not be beat: we walked to everything yet -- being in Lesser Town -- the hotel was quiet. The breakfast was big.

Being a converted attic, there was no shower in the bathroom because of the sloping ceiling and the bathtub was awkward (because of the ceiling). In hot weather, I suspect the room would be uncomfortable.

The location was great; Mala Strana is a great area to base yourself in. The hotel's location, right under the castle, surrounded by stunning government buildings, is great for access to this area of the city, but has very easy (& close) transport links to the other side of the river. The hotel itself offers comfortable accomodation within a historic building, and fantastic buffet breakfasts! I chose a deluxe room, which was actually a suite of two bedrooms, a sitting room and a hall, as well as a sizeable showeroom/toilet.

They start work early in Prague; our room looked onto the little courtyard outside the front door. Deliveries started early! If you like a long lie-in, choose one of the rooms which look onto the internal courtyard...

We booked this hotel because it offers 4* standard. It is a false. Unfortunately we got the room no.123. It hasn't got a bathroom, bathroom and the toilet is on the corridor! When we wanted quit and leave the hotel, the receptionist offered us another room. On the ground floor with a view on the wall of the building. Room was very small, no wooden floor, with an entrance straight from the backyard (it was a problem because of snow on shoes) but with a nice, new bathroom. Breakfast nothing special, no fruits and vegetables. Be careful on this hotel.

Walking distance from everything. The breakfast was really nice. Loved the shower.

The pictures of the rooms are totally different than to what you get. The door to the courtyard was a bit jammed so you had to keep trying for ages.

Short stay but I appreciate very much. The hotel is very good. Great location (distance to city centre, castle, and sufficient restaurants in the neighbourhood). The room was nice, always exceptionally clean .Very comfortable beds. One day when we came back to the hotel, there was a botlle of wine waiting for us on the table, that was very kind. Fast internet connection. Excellent breakfast buffe! Possibility of getting a breakfast - bag if you leave before breakfast starts. Friendly and accomodating staff.

Deluxe double room did not have a view. Wifi did not work. There was no flat screen tv as advertised. The breakfast was not very interesting and coffee was bland.

Отличное расположение - 5 минут до Карлова моста. При этом находится немного в стороне, что исключает гулянье под окнами туристов. Классный дизайн номеров и ресторана.

Возможно простоватый шведский завтрак, но это не особо волновало.

交通非常便利，离地铁站步行8分钟，离布拉格主要景点查理大桥、布拉格城堡都是步行10来分钟即到，非常方- 便。

расположение практически идеальное, отличный завтрак, интересное оформление комнат.

вход в номер был через "вспомогательный" подъезд с другой стороны здания, так что на завтрак пришлось ходить по улице метров 100-150.

Vynikajúca poloha hotela.Príjemné prostredie.Veľké a pekne zariadené izby.Veľmi ochotný a milý recepčný.

Bella struttura d'epoca. Posizione molto tranquilla, vicino alla fermata della metropolitana, al Ponte Carlo e al Castello. Colazione abbondante e varia.

Per essere un quattro stelle il bagno era molto piccolo e alcuni particolari andrebbero sistemati: manca un piano di appoggio, I rubinetti della doccia erano mal funzionanti, quello del lavandino montato al contrario. Nella camera mancano un attaccapanni e almeno una seconda sedia.
