Herford is my hometown so I am biased.
Herford is my hometown so I am biased. I love returns to home as so much to do.The MARTa museum is brilliant. Wonderful surroundings for walking and mountain biking. Good places to eat out. Recommend Kupferherz and La Taverna. Shopping is a bit limited but Bielefeld near by. Cafe Kleine for breakfast. Give it a try! The churches are well worth checking out too. So serene and beautiful - and I am not a Christian.AAlmuthUnited Kingdom

It is only a short drive or taxi to the town centre and train station, and is only a couple of minutes off the autobahn. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are functional, clean and well maintained. The breakfast is excellent with a great selection of warm and cold food. We always use this hotel when visiting Herford.

Also 3 Herforder Pils in the fridge with a bottle of mineral water. Both Alexander und Nadine were very accommodating and helpful. Since the last time we had visited they had improved the kitchen sink unit. Also when they found out it was my wife's birthday they helped with the decoration.
