In just five minutes walk you can reach the small shopping street of Dagebüll with stores, restaurants and a small grocer, which is open in season. Directly across the street, ferries depart for the North Sea islands of Amrum and Föhr. Or you can take the excursion steamer to the seal banks, the Halligen or cross over to Helgoland.
