Nice bird cliffs with good access, a fantasticly well organized Island with very nice park benches everywhere, a lot of restaurants/cafes, grocery stores, a nice place for both bird photograpohy and holiday

Great sceneries of a small-sized island in the middle of the North-Sea. Very good walking trails on the island, leading to the gannet colony at the north-west of the island. The breeding season was not yet over, and many young birds had to be fed to grow so that they can withstand the coming autumn and winter period. I could take many nice pictures of the gannets at quite a close distance, the large sea-birds were pretty used to the tourists and photographers. At another day, we want for a small boat trip to the neighboring but remote island called "Dune", which has a sand-shore, an airport and a small camping site. We were very lucky with the weather, the forecast was really bad with above 15mm of rainfall on a single day. Luckily, that never happened when we were there. Weather forecasts can be wrong too, luckily.

Everything was quite new in the room, even if it didn't look like it from outside of the hotel. The check in and check out are processed outside the hotel at a centralised office and the breakfast is also outsourced, but that doesn't create much discomfort. The apartment itself is big enough for a couple and it's well equipped with all that one needs for the day to day if you don't feel like going out for dinner.
