The view was SPECTACULAR. The room was very spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. Not far from the room were hiking trails with more amazing views of the mountains. I will be recommending this place to all my friends.

Offering spectacular views of the mountains, these nonsmoking apartments are located 5 minutes from the center of Grainau, right at the foot of the Zugspitz mountain and 3.1 miles from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The Landhaus Steinbrech offers apartments furnished in a rustic style with parquet flooring. Some apartments also have a balcony or terrace. Free WiFi is available. The apartments range from 40 to 223 ft² in size and include their own Swedish kitchen or kitchenette. Half board can be arranged at a neighboring guest house, or you can have bread and rolls delivered straight to your door every morning. Guests can enjoy the sauna for a small fee. The Steinbrech apartments provide an ideal base for hiking through the surrounding country and mountainside during summer, while skiing and other winter sports are popular in the colder months.
