We were impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail. The villa was well-furnished and air-conditioned, with a private balcony. The beach and pool were both inviting. Breakfast offered both local and international flavors. The bar was a nice spot for an evening drink.

The garden terrace here is such a hidden gem. I spent hours reading under the shade, enjoying the breeze. My suite had a lovely quiet street view and a comfortable bed that made it hard to get up in the mornings. I tried both the Mexican and Italian breakfast styles: both were delicious. Having a minimarket and hairdresser right on-site was a big plus.

One of my favorite parts of staying here was the peaceful atmosphere despite being in a busy tourist area. My balcony faced a quiet street, and the air-conditioning kept the room cool after hot days at the beach. The rooftop pool offered plenty of seating and shade. I enjoyed the Latin American dishes at dinner, and breakfast always had something new to try.

The staff is great. Katherin from the reception is very kind and funny. But everybody was great. The room was very clean and the facilities were nice. The Italian restaurant has great food. They also gave us a bottle of champagne and fruits in our room. They left us to take breakfast on the first morning before our check-in time and left us to have a late checkout without charge.

    Worse than I could have imagined...

    Worse than I could have imagined... Unfortunately, the type of guests staying made the stay unbearable. These guests were using illicit substances inside the hotel, playing loud music, taking over common areas like the swim-up bar, engaging in sexual behavior in the pool seating areas and at the disco, and generally being noisy and unbearable.

    Punta Cana is a great place to visit.

    Punta Cana is a great place to visit. It’s very lively with so much to experience with a variety of excursions. The best part is you can enjoy as an adult trip or family trip. This time around has been more of a pleasant stay, and much more cleaner.

    Hotel was good - we had the standard package but for an additional fee you can upgrade and get access to more restaurants. lots of seaweed on the beach but food was plentiful and good, drinks the same. As a town it doesn't have a focal point -there is not 'town centre' so there is not an awful lot to do away from your hotel at night, or during the day apart from the excursions offered. And watch the police if you hire a car - they like to pull you for 'speeding' then offer to make charges go away for a price!

    great. stay,

    great. stay, I enjoyed with family in El Dorado Water Park, ' Isla Saona and some other attractions, We decided for another hotel, and Barcelo Occidental was a great Choice... very good All Inclusive Hotel, so far is a great option best Q/P ratio compared with similar hotels in the location.

    I love it, very nice environment, unfortunately the beaches were full of sargassum, so we could not enjoy the beaches as we were thinking, I heard is the season, Thanks to Saona, we enjoyed beautiful beach and trip., PUJ, nice destination. Definitely I will be back, hope soon.

    The greatest reason I would not come back to Punta Cana is...

    The greatest reason I would not come back to Punta Cana is beyond the Resort, and with this comment I want to leave clear that I understand that the property can not do anything directly about it. However i want to warn every traveler, specially those families traveling with kids. The AIRPORT and PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION schemes could become your greatest nightmare. Excessive lines of 1 to 3 hours long at the airport, very disorganized , poorly managed, grouping families with children in separate lines that would growth constantly in relation to the processing capacity of those Customs officer while passengers without children would go through different lines that would move fasters. it felt like discriminations for traveling with minors. In addition to our experience, the AC was shut down and the heat unbearable, Children crying and travelers upset . . I think that scene offered a glimpse into what Concentration Camps were like. On the other hand, watch out for transportation schemes. In DR overall, you can't even rely on Uber drivers who are very used to ask passenger to cancel the ride and charge for more cash to get you to the location. You might just give up to it after seeing that become repetitive and common. For this trip arrival, I had a transportation booked and paid through Booking.com and yet, after we were picked up at the airport, on our way to the hotel, we were requested to pay extra cash to complete the ride or else they would take us back to the airport. at our refusal and after a lot of arguing and heat up conversation over the phone with management, we were drop off at a gas station on the road. Of course this was already reported to Booking but Watch out for the name of that transportation agency " Impulse destination group". Stay away from them.

    The Live Aqua Beach Resort is the perfect place to spend a relaxing vacation in Punta Cana. It is not like a typical all inclusive hotel since the food is a la carte. I‘ve never had such good food in an all inclusive resort. The resort itself is just beautiful - very clean, chill and directly at the beach. The staff is awesome - they are so friendly and treat you like their favourite guest - every day. We‘ll definitely come back.

    I am going in Punta Cana for 18 years (missed one year because of covid), this is the best "price-quality ratio" hotel. Very nice and friendly front desk. It was our first time there and it was great. The rooms are very clean... and big.
