The cottage is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance to the centre of Nerja. There is a really good Mercadona just a short walk away. The gardens at Oasis Capistrano are lovely, there are even ponds with Koi Carp. The pool area is really nice, with sun loungers. The cottage itself has a lovely terrace with sea views. It’s comfortable, and we had all that we needed. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a full size hob, oven and washing machine. We were able to make a Paella 🥘 on Christmas Day from scratch. The TV has plenty of channels to watch and the wifi is good. The air conditioning works well and kept the property warm enough over Christmas. We enjoyed our two week stay in the cottage.

We are unable to accept card or cash payments at time of check-in (as we are not a hotel). Therefore, payment of booking fee and security deposit is required in advance. Authentic Spanish 1 bedroom white pueblo - fully renovated, decorated and furnished to a high standard. Equipped with air conditioning, walk-in shower, 32" cable TV with UK / European channels, WIFI / broadband internet access, fully fitted kitchen with Zanussi appliances, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave oven, washing machine, wood burning stove, 5ft wide european king size bed plus a barbecue and sun loungers on the terrace. Well-stocked deli-supermarket only 5 minutes walk away, two swimming pools and bar/restaurant on site. Access to house is via a short path from the quiet road where lots of parking can be found. The house is very secure with multi-bolt reinforced front door, fixed security bars on the front window and lockable security gates on the patio door. With only a few steps down from the road to the front door there is no need to carry suitcases long distances or climb up and down stairs to get to your accommodation (which is typical of many properties in Nerja).

Five minutes drive from your peaceful haven in Oasis de Capistrano will take you into Nerja town. Plentiful parking can be found close to the famous Balcon de Europa and here you can enjoy the panoramic sea views and stroll around the plaza adjacent to the historic white church of Iglesis El Salvador. Take a seat at one of the cafe bars while you watch the artists and musicians entertaining passers-by. There are also numerous good restaurants serving a variety of European cuisines with some including dinner entertainment such as Flamenco. Why not take a horse and carriage ride around the town, or alternatively walk along the promenade stopping-off at the numerous beach coves along the way. The award-winning Burriana Beach is also only 5 minutes drive away and the famous Nerja caves can be reached in a couple of minutes. Or how about a drive to Granada to visit the Alhambra museum or the Sierra Nevada mountains for skiing? Both are around one hour away. With around 320 days of sunshine every year there's plenty of opportunity to explore the white Andalucian villages and street markets, try scuba diving, horse riding or hiking in the mountains, or sample the local wines and tapas!
