A lovely little apartment in Espinama, just off the main road. Check-in was in the Hotel (blue building) and parking provided down the narrow lane and around the back of the red building/apartments. Lovely and quiet. A few options for eating out. But such a wonderful location. Espinama and most particularly the Picos de Europa - one of the most beautiful places I've seen in Spain. And Spain is obviously abundant with amazing places! :-)

Apartamentos Remoña 1 is in Espinama, next to Peña Remoña at the entrance to the Picos de Europa National Park. It offers free Wi-Fi and is 3 minutes’ drive from Fuente Dé Cable Car. From Remoña Apartments we put at your disposal four magnificent fully equipped apartments, with all kinds of equipment. Two apartments of one room: 1 bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom. 2 seats + 1 in sofa bed 1 bedroom, living room, kitchen/dining room and bathroom. 2 beds + 1 in sofa bed. An apartment with 2 bedrooms: Living room, kitchen and bathroom. Double bed in one of the rooms and two beds in the other. 4 people + 1 sofa bed A 2 bedroom apartment with terrace: Living room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace. Double bed in one of the rooms and two beds in the other. 4 people + 1 in a sofa bed But if the apartments are magnificent, their location is exceptional for lovers of Picos de Europa, or for all those who want to visit them. Espinama It is the last village before reaching the cable car of Fuente Dé, and crowned by the summit of the massif of Picos de Europa.
Experiences Customers of the Remoña hotel complex will be able to enjoy countless experiences, an aspect recognised in 2015 with the Inturtech award for the most competitive tourist company in Spain. They advise you on the most suitable routes and propose the most interesting visits, depending on the time of year and the length of your stay. They also organize and support: snowshoeing routes, such as the now classic Raquetada Nocturna in Espinama, and cross-country skiing to discover spectacular snow-covered landscapes of the Picos de Europa; climbing on the Via Ferratas in Liébana; multitudinous hiking routes such as the Ruta del Cocido Lebaniego; official competitions such as the now legendary Km Vertical® Fuente Dé; weekends with trail running training sessions led by professionals or very entertaining night-time stays such as the Espinama Trotting; as well as weekends with rural livestock experiences to get to know first-hand the daily activities of a livestock farm.
