Located in the Lavapiés district of Madrid, this newly renovated and fully equipped apartment for a very comfortable stay in the city, has a room with double bed and a sofa-bed in the living room. Very close to the Metro station and Renfe, in an area full of bars, restaurants and shops.

The Barrio de las Letras takes its name in homage to the great literati who inhabited its streets in the Golden Age. Cervantes, Quevedo or Lope de Vega traveled through this area located between Paseo del Prado and Plaza de Santa Ana, one of the most popular in Madrid for the charm of its pedestrian streets and its many shops and restaurants that make it especially lively on weekends. From the Plaza de Santa Ana, famous for its terraces and tapas bars, streets like the one in Huertas run up the slope to the Paseo del Prado, whose cobblestones are engraved with quotes from great writers in Spanish. Precisely in Lope de Vega street, in the church of San Ildefonso (convent of the Barefoot Trinitaries), a commemorative plaque reminds that in an indeterminate place of the building rest the remains of the author of The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote de la Mancha, Miguel de Cervantes. Not far from there we find the house-museum of the great dramatist Lope de Vega -curiously on Cervantes street-, which is also buried in the neighborhood, in the church of San Sebastián (Atocha street). One of the favorite appointments of the regulars to the neighborhood is the Market of the Frogs. AND
