First class warmful welcome from the owners. The most kind, friendly, helpful and generous I have ever met when visiting a place to stay. The latter is beyond amazing, in a very calm and relaxing environment in the country side, encircled by out of sight olive trees, offering outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and pool table. The breakfast is delicious with local and various food and drinks. The rooms are very cosy with excellent amenities. There's also a very nice small town (Tocón) nearby with restaurants and local shops.

Beautiful outside sitting areas in pretty gardens and around the pool. The hosts greeted us warmly and work hard to make their guests have an excellent experience at Casa Olivar. The breakfast was lovely, everything was fresh from the orange juice to the homemade chutney. There is an inside dining area but we chose to sit outside on a covered terrace to enjoy the view. The whole house it spotless throughout. We would highly recommend this property. An added reason to stop off here is to visit the lovely little hill town of Monte Frio 30 minutes drive from the Casa.

I would highly recommend a stay at Casa Olivar, the hosts are charming, the rooms are fantastic and if you have the evening meal (recommended) they serve up a rich mix of their own and local produce which will have your taste buds singing, to top that the breakfast is sublime. The house is beautiful and the room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The attention to detail is impressive from an impeccable service to spotless rooms. We enjoyed the big swimming pool and exterior bar/lounge area and in the evening we had the best time close to the little pond for dinner. Both dinner and breakfast were the best we had on our entire 2 week trip to southern Spain. Kudos to Tina and Stein. You guys have created a wonderful place.

My best friend and I got there absolutely by chance after a long day of work photographing a wedding in Granada, we were exhausted and we thought to spend one relaxing day before driving back home....best decision ever... Tina and Stein were amazing with us, two great and super interesting human beings, they gave us an excellent attention, high quality home made meals and good conversation... they really care about their guests. The facilities are super confortable, the pool and jacuzzi were dreamy and everything smells super nice!! (their sheets and blankets washing softener smells soooo great!). And btw, at night you can watch the stars... this is luxury indeed! Highly recommended!! We will be back for sure! A little treasure in the middle of Granada. Thanks Tina and Stein for making our day the best experience ever!
