El Trepador Azul is an independent house with a fireplace and a garden with a barbecue. Ideal to share with family or friends. It has access to the mountain in less than 5 min walking from the house. Very close to the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park (14 km from Puerto de Navacerrada) and located 18 km from the entrance to the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares and La Pedriza Regional Park. By public transport you can reach Puerto de Navacerrada, Puerto de Cotos and Valdesquí station on bus line 691 from Becerril, with a stop very close to our house. You can do other activities in the house, such as playing table football, lighting the fireplace, preparing a barbecue, or playing board games. In addition, in winter, we activate the heating in advance so that, when you arrive, the house is already warm. It is a very spacious house with a living room and a dining room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms (two with double beds and two double twins). From here you can get to Moralzarzal walking through pine forests while enjoying the views of the mountains and the Santillana reservoir, go on an excursion to La Pedriza, La Barranca, or, in winter, enjoy the snow in Navacerrada.
I love that our visitors enjoy the tranquillity of our lush garden full of trees and birds. I have taken many pictures of birds and plants in and around the garden. As a welcome we will send you a PDF file by email with a description of the plants and birds that can be seen in the garden and in the area, as well as a description of routes that can be done by walking directly from the house. For us it is a reward when visitors write to us telling us where they have gone and what they have seen.
The best thing about the area is that it is 1.5 km from the town and 300 meters from the countryside. You can start routes through the countryside and the forest starting on foot from the house. It is worth climbing the Cerro del Telégrafo (The Telegraphe Mountain) with views of the Guadarrama mountain range to the north and the Escorial, the Valmayor reservoir on the south side of the hill. La Barranca is very close, from where several interesting routes start and the ascent to the Maliciosa peak (2,227 m high). Just 14 km away are the access car parks to the Cuenca Alta de Manzanares Regional Park. And the Navacerrada and Valdesquí ski slopes are 14 and 24 km away respectively. Becerril de la Sierra is a town with a lot of atmosphere on weekends at noon. There are many places where you can have an aperitif or eat.
