En el exterior, dispone de un jardín de 500m2 con unas inmejorables vistas despejadas a los verdes paisajes que rodean la casa. Además de la barbacoa, dispone de un porche de madera donde disfrutar de una comida al aire libre. El Espesedo se sitúa a 0.6 mi de la autovia y a 14 mi. de Santander, donde podrá admirar la preciosa Bahía de Santander, el mayor estuario de la zona Norte de España y el mar Cantábrico, y disfrutar de sus inmejorables playas del Sardinero y la península de Magdalena, donde se ubica el majestuoso Palacio de la Magdalena, antigua residencia veraniega de los Reyes de España. Se sitúa en Santa María de Cayón, en la comarca del “siempre verde” Valle del Pisueña, uno de los tres Valles Pasiegos, con multitud de recursos naturales, un gran patrimonio histórico-artístico, y una gran gastronomía popular como los sobaos pasiegos y la quesada pasiega. Los núcleos de población más importantes de la zona son Liérganes y Esles de Cayón, cuya parte antigua ha sido declarada conjunto histórico-artístico, y las villas pasiegas de Villacarriedo y Selaya.
