The idea for Vida Villas came about after my family and I had been renting and staying in private holiday villas and apartments for many years. Like many of our guests who now come to stay in the properties we have listed on our site, we were lucky enough to go on holiday several times a year and quite often chose to stay in private villas or apartments. We travelled to many destinations in Europe at the time because we had small children, we tried France, Italy, Greece, the Spanish mainland then Ibiza and Menorca amongst other destinations, eventually when our children were starting school we found our favourite spot that was Pollença nestled in the North East corner of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. We continued to take holidays in private rental villas in Pollença until one day in 2006 we decided to take the plunge and buy our first property on Mallorca for a holiday home. We were feeling brave and decided to buy a run down town house in the historic quarter of Pollensa. Six months after the purchase we sold our UK businesses and home to moved full time to Pollença, Mallorca to start a new life. We welcome you to enjoy your holiday in one of our private holiday homes.

Finca Maria is a unique exclusive farmhouse property that offers everything you will need for a fabulous holiday in luxurious surroundings located conveniently for beaches, shops and restaurants in the South East Corner of Mallorca. This is an impressive, spacious country style Farm house. The property has recently undergone a refurbishment and has been thoroughly modernised to provide a first class holiday rental property. Traditional Mallorcan stone on the outside , Finca Maria represents everything thats attractive about rustic Spain. Solid wooden beams, terracotta roof, tiled flooring, wooden window shutters, spacious private grounds and fantastic vistas across the rolling hills, you couldn’t ask for more. With six beautiful bedrooms and five bathrooms, its the perfect location for a holiday with family and friends. The main farmhouse has 4 en-suite bedrooms with the facility to accommodate 4 more guests in the 2 bedroom annex which is adjoined to the main house. The guest annex has it’s own kitchen and shared bathroom. On arriving at Finca Maria, you will enter through the huge front door into the tiled reception area.

Neighborhood info

he northernmost spurs of Sierra de Tramuntana are the backdrop of the Mallorcan town of Pollença. The town has a medieval historic quarter that sits only a few kilometres away from the Mediterranean sea. The town, under the shade of the mountains of Puig de Pollença and Calvari, has managed to preserve intact its personality, despite being only a short distance from the bustle of the beach. Pollensa has been a preferred destination of painters and artists since the beginning of this century. Here, the cultural and artistic life never stops. The main square with its pavement cafés and chique restaurants is the hub of the towns unique charm. There are a lot of art galleries and museums. During nearly all the year one can enjoy a variety of musical events and fiestas among which the most famous ones are those which take place in the Santo Domingo Cloister. The Sunday market is a social event and people travel from around the island to experience the array of products on offer. The town is open all year round with walkers, cyclists and bird watchers taking over from the summer tourists in the cooler months
