This finca is so well done—delicious bedding, quiet without being boring, attentive staff that show up only when you need them. Breakfast is fantastic. An example of their attention to detail: I said I wanted hard boiled eggs every day and there they were, every single day. This seems like a simple thing, but someone took the time to write it down so that no matter who was working that day, they knew what I liked for breakfast.

This is my second review. We reported a boiler or hot water tank problem at 1.30 am. It woke us and the noise and overheating plug worried us.
In the morning we had to insist to be offered another apartment by central reservations. I asked whether they had had similar problems previously. I was told not. I have just seen six other guests had reported "boiler" problems by searching the reviews. I wonder what I might find by searching "tank". Then one could try translations into various languages.
I do not appreciate being lied to!

Son bou is a fantastic place to stay.
Son bou is a fantastic place to stay. It has something for everyone. There is good restaurants of various food choices. The beach is easy to get to and it’s beautiful. We love the Kitcat Bar as they have entertainment a few evenings a week. They do a Quiz and in high season karaoke. All sports are played on the various TVs. It’s run by a wonderful friendly family and they make you feel very welcome. The food and drink is excellent too.

Food selection both for breakfast and dinner were great!
Food selection both for breakfast and dinner were great!
Hotel has a minibus that takes guests to the beach every half an hour (with a break during the lunch). This is great as the hotel is up the hill, the walk is not too long but can be challenging for some people.
Nearby beach is long and sandy, with options to rent umbrellas and sunbeds. It can be busy at times. Waves are often high, so swimming can be challenging.
There are a couple of restaurants near the beach, with reasonably priced decent food, in case you wish to dine out, but the hotel restaurant is much better.
There is a bus stop near the beach where you can get the bus to go to towns across the island, some direct and some with change. Buses don't go often, and there are very few of them on Sundays, so plan things ahead if you wish to venture out.
Daily boat trips on the island are often sold out, as there are only a couple of options available on the entire island, so it is recommended to book trips before arriving on the island, as the prices are fixed.
Renting a car can also be challenging, and it is recommended to check options in advance.

The beach was very long and it was easy to find space away from other people if you wanted to. It was end of season though so probably very packed in peak season. We didn’t like the restaurants in the town - we tried three different ones during our stay and the food was decidedly average and overpriced.
It’s unlikely that we would return to Son Bou apart from going to the beach possibly.

Son Bou is a beautiful area with a great beach.
Son Bou is a beautiful area with a great beach. It’s a very clean area and has beautiful weather, even at the start of October we had clear blue skies and 26°c, perfect for sunbathing and swimming in the pool. I recommend staying in Valentin hotel.

A lovely village with beautiful views, a few supermarkets and the odd 'club' but nothing too hectic. Some nice restaurants catering mainly to families. Gorgeous beach and lots of hiking available. Beautiful marshland protected from over-development.
It felt relaxed and friendly.
We used the bakery every day and ate at Allesandros which was excellent.
I was extremely glad that some one called me back when I arrived at the Son Bou Gardens reception office. The reception office was closed at the time. I do not remember the ladies name, but she was very nice and came quickly. She provided me with the keys and gave me a tour of the apartment. I arrived in the off season, so I expected minor problems. I would recommend Son Bou Gardens to other visitors. My advice for over seas visitors, call or send an email before you get there to confirm your reservation to make your arrival more smooth.
Beautiful, well-equipped villa in a brilliant location with amazing seaviews, right next door to a supermarket and Club San Jaime which has a restaurant and pool and nightly entertainment. The main strip of shops and restaurants is just a 10 minute walk away, as is access to the beach. Excellent communication with management and easy check-in and check-out process using the secure key box. Would definitely recommend to anybody visiting Son Bou
Overall, it was great. Had half board and stayed 3 nights (late May - so off season). The beach is right there outside the hotel. They also gave 2 beach towels. Stayed in a room with a sea view and that was a really good decision and highly recommended. The food was good and diverse. Supermarket just across the street. Pool looked great - but didn't use it. Might return.
Gorgeous villa in the Menorcan countryside in Son Bou!
The villa had everything you could need, including a beautiful clean pool! We were a group of 12 and we never felt like we didn't have enough space.
Pere was great to deal with - friendly and very accommodating!! Nowhere was to far to travel to from the villa, we really can't complain. We will be back for sure!!
The location is great, up on the hill in Son Bou with a wonderful view over the dunes to the sea.
The property was neat and tidy, plenty of space, the balcony offers sun, shade and views over the garden and down to the sea.
The pool was private and perfect for a refreshing swim - might be a bit small if there were 6 of you in it.
amazing! I like everything. you can have everything in this hotel, if you don’t want to, you don’t need leave. they have a lot of activities and a big pool! they have a bus that takes you to the beach every 30 minutes and the beach is amazing! clean water
I loved the hotel cleanliness and the activities available for children. the food at the restaurant was delicious and there were a lot of options to choose from. the staff were amazing and helpful. it’s also right next to the beach.
Breakfast was fantastic. It is made as buffet.
Pool is very nice, big and not a lot of people.
Staff is very friendly and helpful with everything.
Location is on the hill, so I recommend to rent a car for better transfer.
We had a lovely family holiday here. The villa is spacious for a family of four. Our little boy loved the private pool and we enjoyed spending a few hours here in between exploring the island.
Son Bou beach is lovely.
Possibility of using a shower facility after checkout if your plane was later in the evening
The staff at reception was very helpful explaining all instructions
Perfect for family holidays! We have found everything what we needed in tha apartament and it's location is a very pleasant place - Son Bou gardens. Next to the pool and the restaurant.
Lovely setting, well kept gardens outside and area very clean and tidy.Appartment was great for us as a base with a pool with bar/cafe just around the corner -great pizzas 😀
The location was perfect, we had the swimming pool right in front of our apartment and the beach was on the comfortable walking distance. We did not book any boarding.
Extremely clean and fully equipped. Comfortable beds and professional staff. The apartment is part of a complex that is really well maintained and close to the beach.
The villa was beautiful. It was easy walking distance to all amenities. It was private and had everything you could possibly need on holiday. It was also very clean.
The location was great close to the beach and lots of amenities but we have stayed in son bou on a number of occasions so the location was why we chose it.
