    “Quite and remote location, just what we wanted with a great sea view. Although it was quite, it was only 2 minutes from a large supermarket and it was 10 minutes drive from Puerto Del Carmen or Puerto Callero. I'd strongly recommend car hire.”

Villa Canto is situated in the area of Lower Macher with an area of 1400 sqmts a built area of 180 sqmts, all round terraces area of 104 sqmts, and gardens with numerous palm trees, boganvillas,hibiscus and cactus. L-shaped walk in beach style pool with an area of 5mt x 9mt x 5mt x 4mt with depth of 0 to 1.60mt. Heated by solar panels and electric heathpump thus being able to keep a lovely warm temperature all year,having a large sun terrace with sunbeds as well as a shaded terrace and BBQ terrace overlooking the pool and ocean with security gates for small children. The villa is overlooking the ocean with views of Fuerteventura on one side and Puerto del Carmen on the other. It has no immediate neighbouring properties around thus making it a very quiet and peaceful place, but very accessable to Puerto Calero with all the top restaurants, bars and shops, playa Chica and Puerto Del Carmen all under 5 mins drive. Eurospar supermarket having fresh fish, meat and vegitable counters and all one would need is only 1KM away. Restaurants such as El Toro, La Cabana, La Tegala and Macher Cafeteria are all within 1 km distance. Lidel supermarket open all week is 4 mins drive open all week.
Villa Canto overlooks the ocean and the pool which will be your view looking south and the volcanic hills looking north, thus giving you a choice of going on a boat trip sailing or fishing or just relaxing, scuba diving, submarine trip, jet skiing, paragliding, or just swimming, snorkling and sunbathing all in less than a 4 mins drive. As for the north side one can go mountain biking in the lanes or long walks in the country lanes. You can also join a trekking company or go it alone on well rounted walks once again within 4 mins drive in the volcanic area of Timanfaya. Pony and horse riding as well as camel train rides are within 5 mins drive. As for the children and families Rancho Texas is a beautiful park to spend the day. Tias Golf course is 5 mins drive having an 18 hole course and all facilities.
Villa Canto is 15 mins drive to the Timanfaya Volcanic Park , a must if you have not seen an active volcano. As for eating out Puerto Calero Marina is a 5 min drive with all types of restaurants ie spanish, Italian, Japanese, Indian and chill out bars and high fashion shops. Puerto del Carmen old town once again is 5 min drive having beautiful restaurants and lovely views of the ocean. Puerto del Carmen promenade is just along the old town where one can walk along the sea side promenade and choose a restaurant or bar or shop all along the strip of more than 5 km. On the other end one can find lovely restaurants in the countryside such as Uga with its vineyards and wine tasting bars and restaurants.
