The location of our Safari Connect Tree tent offers privacy and a magnificent view on Lake Päijänne. There are sleeping bags, sleeping bag sheets and pillows in the tent for you. Also Tentsile air-pads serve for your comfort in the tent. During your stay you can borrow a cooler bag and binoculars. Pure drinking water is available in a canister. A daily 1,5 h private sauna and towels are included in the accommodation price. You can choose, if you prefer a take away basket breakfast or breakfast served in a nice terrace with a lake view & fire place! You can also rent high quality electric MBTs or fat bikes. A rowing boat is at your disposal. The location is great for hiking and fishing.

If you are interested in architecture, Muurame and Jyväskylä offers several great buildings designed by the famous architect Alvar Aalto. However, lake Päijänne with its great possibilities for fishing, swimming and boat excursions, is the most important sight in Muurame and surroundings. The Korpilahti harbor has a nice restaurant, an interesting art gallery (Höyry Gallery) and an old wooden church. During summer the Riihivuori offers interesting paths for hiking and on the top of the hill, there is a summer theater & restaurant with great views over the lake Päijänne. Jyväskylä, located some 18 km from Muurame, has several nice restaurants and museums.
