The host and his son where wonderful. They were kind and brought us our breakfast for the next day as well as a little celebration treat for New Years. They were super friendly and also very responsive. We hope to come again for a longer time.

Located by the Bothnian Bay in the beautiful Simo Region, these cottages feature waterfront views, a private sauna and free WiFi. The beach is just a few steps away. The cottages of Hotel Wanha Pappila have separate bedrooms, a TV lounge with an open fireplace and underfloor heating in the bathrooms. Bathrobes are provided in each cottage. Breakfast is served to the rooms. The cabins have their own saunas. On-site facilities at Wanha Pappila include a beach, childrens playground and lakeside sauna. Plenty of hiking trails can be found nearby, and the Simojoki River offers excellent opportunities for salmon fishing.
