Yöpuu is a kind of dream place for me. I have been there once earlier, in the midst of a heavy work task and everything was great even then. This time I knew what to expect - and your hotel exceeded all the expectations. Thank you so much.

The room was a good size and the beds were really comfortable. We traveled with our pets and they were comfortable too! The front desk staff was nice and the restaurant onsite was really good!!!!!!!!!!

Only stay here if you are trying to save money otherwise find a better hotel, biggest gripe I have stayed for 4 days never had town service, place is hard to find if you don’t know where to look, biggest problem the shower has a push button and only runs for a short time, not impressed!

Despite its Finnish Brutalist architecture, this is a very good hotel: the spa and saunas in particular are excellent. Breakfast was good and plenty of room in the dining area.

Jyvastyla was a great surprise, we visited the Aalto museum, which was excellent. We walk to the University of Jyvaskyla, very impressive and beautiful. We could walk in to the lecture halls, libraries, class rooms. Many restaurants and cafes.
I would go back once more to see the city center and galleries.

The right season needs to be chosen to visit this town.
The right season needs to be chosen to visit this town. I'd recommend late spring, summer or early autumn. But not December. January and February might work only if you're coming here for skiing. There are not much entertainings, mostly just stores and restaurants in the downtown, prices in groceries might be even higher than in Helsinki. People are friendly, surprisingly a lot of teenagers. Staying here for one night is enough to see harbour, observation tower, central square and church, couple of local museums, stores and restaurants. Can recommend Verona pizzeria, great pizza, kebab and pasta, decent prices, location in the centre, and Haiku sushi, with good selection of sushi and friendly owner! You can just walk around, no need fir public transportation, it will take 5 minutes to get to the centre from the railway station.

I have spent five beautiful days in Jyvaskula.
I have spent five beautiful days in Jyvaskula. Apart the visit was for business, I've had an opportunity to walk a lot and to see and feel environment closely. People and the whole atmosphere is pretty quiet and very relaxing for stay.
A cheap room in an outdoor hostel, I recommend for a short stay. Very nice sauna included in the price. Good laundry facilities. Nice full body mirror in the room. Fridge in the room, though there could have been one in the kitchen too. Right next to various outdoor activities, adventure park, downhill skiing, jogging paths, hiking... the fireplace room was nice, though it would also have been nice to have had the option to actually use the fireplace.
Made a reservation for a room for two in assumption that bed would be big enough, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Luckily there was a bigger room available with bigger room with bigger bed with small additional price which was acceptable, so all went well and enjoyed our trip. Would visit again. - Unfortunately did not visit the hotel restaurant, but would would visit gladly in next visit as all seemed good. Recommended!
The location of the hotel is right in the center of the city of Jyvaskyla. In just 5 minutes (max) you are everywhere. Besides is near the railway station and many buses stop just in front of the hotel. Breakfast is typical. Room is enough for one person. The bath is bit cosy but you can get used to it. All places in the hotel are clean. Finally, reception is 24/7 and all people are very polite and helpful.
This is our 2nd time staying here and it was as lovely as the first time. The hostess is really friendly and easy to communicate with. The place is cosy and comfortable. It feels like living in your home with hotel service. Susanna provides amenities beyond the norm to ensure your stay is comfortable, cosy and convenient. Thank you again for hosting us in your lovely apartment.
Comfortable and clean, large apartment with all amenities as expected

- Well furnished living room and sizable kitchen
- Central location in Jyväskylä city center
- Easy check-in and check-out
This is one of my favourite hotels in the world. The personnel is very nice, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is superb. The bed is very comfortable. The location is very central in Jyvaskyla and there are many shops around. You can borrow a yoga mat, too!
View is the best city hotel view ever!
Breakfast was excellent, including also gluten free options and clearly marked allergens.
Staff was polite and interested to help us.
Very clean studio. Nice view on Lutako square. Super equipment in the kitchen. Really serious owner. Silent appartement house. Best choice in Jyvaskyla
