Despite its Finnish Brutalist architecture, this is a very good hotel: the spa and saunas in particular are excellent. Breakfast was good and plenty of room in the dining area.

Jyvastyla was a great surprise, we visited the Aalto museum, which was excellent. We walk to the University of Jyvaskyla, very impressive and beautiful. We could walk in to the lecture halls, libraries, class rooms. Many restaurants and cafes.
I would go back once more to see the city center and galleries.

The right season needs to be chosen to visit this town.
The right season needs to be chosen to visit this town. I'd recommend late spring, summer or early autumn. But not December. January and February might work only if you're coming here for skiing. There are not much entertainings, mostly just stores and restaurants in the downtown, prices in groceries might be even higher than in Helsinki. People are friendly, surprisingly a lot of teenagers. Staying here for one night is enough to see harbour, observation tower, central square and church, couple of local museums, stores and restaurants. Can recommend Verona pizzeria, great pizza, kebab and pasta, decent prices, location in the centre, and Haiku sushi, with good selection of sushi and friendly owner! You can just walk around, no need fir public transportation, it will take 5 minutes to get to the centre from the railway station.

Everything was as expected, based on photos and reviews. We rented this house with a group of colleagues during a busy exhibition week in nearby city of Jyväskylä instead of an insanely priced hotel, and it worked well for our use. 20min drive to the city and far away from any noise or distractions.
Plenty of room in the house, at least for 3 people, and a nice sauna.
The owners were welcoming and responded to inquiries fast.
Good value for money and would definitely recommed for both business and leisure.
Really good location and very detailed and correct information on how to get access. (I have had bad experiences with other places). I got information texted in English, my friend who was staying a different room and booked separately, got his info in Finnish. Both very correct and got us into the rooms.
My room was big (two beds) and I plan to use this option with my partner and dog on our next trip to the city. Shower and toilet room was bigger than many Scandic-level hotels.
The apartment is in a calm zone of Jyväskylä. It's possible to park inside the house, or even in the street. Staff is very kind. Very easy to get instructions to check-in and check-out. Apartment is clean, with all kitchen conforts and big bathroom.
Clean and nice apartment in residential area in Jyväskylä. Apartment had 2 bedrooms and big living room with kitchen. Smart TV with Youtube etc. Apartment was clean and had everything necessary.
Nice view from balcony. Apartment was brand new.
