Megève is one of the highest class resorts in the alps and so is a great experience but you don't have to spend a lot to enjoy. The main pedestrian street is great fun to explore. It has truly unique shops and world class galleries and the people watching is most interesting.

Megeve would be a different experience if the snow had arrived in time for our ski trip. As it was, we left half a day early to reach our second destination in Meribel. Meribel's slopes are higher up so they had more snow. Megeve feels like a lovely "locals" spot...plenty of fun runs for all levels if there was more snow on the ground. But you could literally spend an entire week at Les 3 Vallees, just an hour away. The town of Megeve was more charming than Meribel if I had to choose a "charming award"...with it's cobblestone streets and horsedrawn carriages....beautiful shops and outdoor space for food/drink...it's very picturesque. The more energetic apres ski scene is at Meribel...Le Folie Deuce, etc. The food at Nano Cafe was exceptional for lunch in Megeve! And the fun scene at Le Ferme Saint Amour was special...not everyone was in sequins and heels, like they suggest, however. And the entertainment at the early seating was mild, unlike their more festive marketing shots on IG for the restaurant. Service there was wonderful, but it was a spendy meal for the mild entertainment vs our expectations. Perhaps the later seating is different, but with teens we were not offered that option. Just something to note. Hotel lobbies are a great destination for drinks...M Hotel and Park Lodge especially.

Megeve is too expensive, but it's clear that they try to be high-end tourist town. We were there for the Tour de France so we didn't spend much time in the town. I think it has plenty of options also for the winter (skiing).

Once I have checked in the receptionist was pleasant but somewhat confused. I have asked for slippers and bath robe but she answered that I had the lowest entry and it was not possible. Since the hotel was not complete I have told her that I'm a Genius level with Booking to what she replied that she did not what I was talking about and that she will see it with the Manager. Obviously it never happened...These types of little courtesies would really help as while one is constantly being reminded how great are the advantages booking via Booking is is not what it seems to be.
Excellent location 10 mins walk from village and 4 min drive to Princesse lift on other side with access to main Megeve ski slopes (900 parking places and ski hire). Beautiful modern renovation of apartment with feature wooden panel walls and parquet floor, modern, tasteful shower room & kitchen fully equipped and complimentary welcome biscuits. Extremely clean. Charming garden. This is an excellent apartment just renovated and a lovely and helpful owner. Clean linen and fresh white towels. Highly recommended.
Overall we had a nice stay, not sure we would return. We had a wonderful view from our room, and a large terrace. My kids loved their bunk beds. Strangely only 1 toilet for 2 bedrooms. The kitchenette was handy for breakfast. The shuttle was very efficient and we really liked the walk to Megève village or to the Mont D’Abois ski area in 10/15 mins. The ski shop at Mont d’Abois is excellent
The staff at this hotel are the nicest in the world! They make you feel so welcome and very special.
Ben the concierge can recommend and reserve the best tables in town, including the Lodge Park's own Beef Lodge restaurant.
For exceptional cocktails, look no further than the Lodge Park Bar where Leo will mix you delicious classics often with his fabulous innovative twists!
People who work there are very nice, they take care of us since we stopped the car in front of the hotel, well designed hotel, cozy and elegant, if you love chocolate prepare your self for a daily selection of chocolate, cake and fruit, even your breakfast will get a many chocolate and cake selections, i think i gain alot of kilos in the 3 nights i spend there
The property was great. It was much larger than I expected and everything was very comfortable. The in-garage parking was an added bonus. The best part was the location -- it was so, so easy for us to get to the ski lift each morning and the drive to the "downtown" area was <5 minutes.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of various appliances and amenities to make the stay enjoyable. It's located in a very calm and quiet neighborhood, only a few kilometers away from the centre of Megeve. Communication with the host was very quick and easy.
The apartment is well equipped. Comfortable ski storage room and in-doors parking. The apartment is well modern designed. High-end TV set. Spacious heated bathroom , two balconies, and everything you need for comfortable luxury staying.
Highly recommended .
Beautiful views and great location near Megeve. You can have the hotel drop you into town and a lovely and easy 20 minute walk back. Rooms were nice and clean, bed were very comfortable. In the summer they set up a movie night outdoors and it was lovely.
Very nice terrace woth a bonfire and a view. The restaurant is very good (even the bistrot) and the indoor spa facilities are quite good along with the outdoor Swedish bath.
The staff were very nice and caring especially the massage therapist.
Lovely Hotel in Megève would highly recommend, staff very friendly and attentive , lots of little kind touches welcome gifts and water at night or sweets on pillows
all ready appreciated. Would gladly stay again if I get the opportunity.
Larger sized rooms compared to the other options around town for the same price, Location was ideal & walking distance from all the restaurants & ski lifts we needed to take during our stay.
Staff was friendly and happy to help.
Exceptional hotel. When luxury meets cosiness. Nothing was not to like really. The staff was so kind and helpful, the decoration is gorgeous and in the mountain spirit and the rooms are big enough for families.
Proximity to the Rochebrune lift was fantastic. Ski room within apartment complex opens to a set of stairs which are 30 metres up to the lift. Short easy walk into Megeve town. Spacious apartment.
Great location, 5 min walk of the city center, confortable room, super deco and very professional staff.
When we will return to Megeve we will definitely choose the same hotel.
