Lovely city not far from George du l’archer which could get crowded in summer. It was busy as it was long weekend. Cafes de fluers and boulangerie down the road from hotel du commerce sells good coffee and pain

Exceptional welcome, everything explained thoroughly and altough the restaurant was not open, as with a lot of hotels at the moment, madam was ready with a paper giving restaurants in the area, complete with distance and days that they were open. When we decided to buy food to eat in, she also provided couvert and brought them to the room with a smile. Pool was a bonus and we had a nice swim after a tiring journey.
The swimming pool is fabulous, especially after riding from Montelimar on the ViaRhona with warm weather. Check in was very flexible with the time, the staff were friendly, there is secure bicycle storage and the hotel was clean and comfortable. There is a supermarket a few minutes walk from the hotel, handy for supplies when the restaurant was closed. Happy to recommend especially for cyclists.
The proprietress of the hotel manages the business alone but due to its size this is not a problem. When you visit some hotels there is a system in operation but I liked the fact that in this case one person exercised responsibility. There were some nice individual touches and I enjoyed breakfast especially the home made marmalade!
On the main street, which was good for finding the property near the viaRhona. However also noisy in the early mornings (and could be in normal evenings too). Good sized room, with small shower/WC room too. Secure, indoor cycle storage and nearby patisserie and restaurants (as well as the hotel's own offerings)
We stayed here during a cycling holiday along EuroVelo17. The hotel has cycle storage in a secure garage a short walk from the hotel. The host was very friendly and welcoming The room was well maintained. The breakfast was fruit, bread, cheese and a boiled egg with plenty of freshly brewed coffee.
The pool, setting, beautiful location, tasteful decoration all combine to give this hotel a memorable atmosphere. We only stayed one night but would love to revisit and explore the walking and cycling in the area.
The restaurant was very good
A nice quiet room on the top floor, a great fan was provided with secure bicycle storage (costs EURO 1 per bicycle per day). Breakfast wad delicious, especilly the home made jam. It is a very secure hotel.
