We spent one night there while traveling in Bordeaux region. The hostess was very kind with us, she provided us with linen and towels. She also suggested dinner and breakfast, but we had our food with us. But was is a good option as there is no place around where you can eat outside. The room was quite old and everything in it. But the surroundings are amazing - the vineyards are right in front of you! The territory of the domaine is nice and full of flowers. We felt like staying in the village of grandma)))

We had serious trouble with our car on our way back home to Holland, and a friend found this lovely place for us to stay while waiting for a replacement car. What could have been a nasty time, ended up in a few very nice days at the beautiful chambre d’hotes of Philippe. We arrived by taxi, it was Easter and supermarkets and restaurants were closed. Philippe not only provided us with drinks and snacks, he even went out to get us pizza’s. Next day he took us to the supermarket so we could buy everything we needed. We spent time in the garden and at the swimming pool and made some walks in the beautiful area. When we needed to pick up a car at Bordeaux, Philippe even drove us to the trainstation. What easily could have been a nasty time, turned out to be very enjoyable days, thanks to this very special and friendly host, who take care of us and our little dog, in the most caring way possible. Thank you so much Philippe, we’ll be happy to return on our way to Portugal!

The location and the gardens, even before we set foot inside the building! Then the very warm welcome of our host. Our family suite was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfast was served punctually -it was copious and our host was so easy to talk too. We recommend this location for anybody needing an overnight stop close to the A10 motorway but it would be nice easy to stay longer thanks to the relaxing gardens and s et inning pool.

Host was very helpful and nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was a great spread of breads, croissants, yoghurts, coffee & orange juice. The property is very quiet in the midst if vineyards. The decor is 1970's, its french countryside, but views are amazing, the property is very quiet. The beds and bathrooms clean, and aircon in the room gave us all we needed. Our dog was willingly accepted.
