We hope you will enjoy your stay in our haven of peace near the lake. We have decorated it in our style and we hope you feel at home here. We wanted to make it a place we would be happy to stay in. Our family and friends stay in it and they all seem to love it. We try to be as environmentally friendly as we can. We love nature and we don't only have lawns here. We also leave areas for the wild flowers and grasses to grow so they provide habitats for insects and food for birds and other wildlife. The lake is only a few minutes away and we can see it from our garden for most of the year. although, during the summer the view becomes quite obscured by the lovely trees as they burst into life again. You can walk down our field and see the lake from the bottom of the slope, you might need your wellies. We normally cut a path around the outside of the field, so you can walk round that way to make it easier. We have access to the lake through the corner of the neighbouring field. Please ask us to show you the way. Or it's a couple of minutes by car to the lakeside. We have made a garden outside your holiday home for you to relax in. You can eat outside and there's a barbecue for your use.

We came to France from England in 2006 and we love our life here. We're still working on various projects and there's always something else to start doing. The list goes on! We are looking forward to welcoming you to our holiday home. We live on site but there's plenty of space for you and your car or motorbike. We're very biker friendly hosts! We've tried to provide everything you need for a lovely holiday. We love meeting people from different corners of the world. We have had a lot of visitors from all regions of France as well as other countries. We love having a chat and sharing tips about things to do and places to see. We're here as much as you want us to be. Some people like to chat every day, and have a drink together, others like to be welcomed with a quick chat and then left to enjoy the peace and relaxation and go out and about. We are an animal loving vegan household and love to have the chance to welcome and help vegans and vegetarians to find the best places to eat out or buy food etc. Please don't hesitate to ask for any advice you need. We know some great beaches, picnic areas, walks and we'll do our best to help. We provide beach towels for you to borrow too.

Guests tell us they love the quiet, relaxing space here. There's the golf course and of course the lake with its little beach area and pedalos. People say the location is ideal,.We're not close to a beach but it's easy to get to lots of different beaches from here. You could visit a different one every day during your stay. The attraction that our guests have all visited is the famous Mont St Michel. It's a fantastic place to visit, picnic and take photos. It looks beautiful in any season and any weather. For people who like to keep fit there are miles of cycle paths, they're traffic free and they go past little towns and villages along the way. There are so many walks that you could do a different one every day every time you stay. We have details of lots of them if you need any. We also have details of D Day beaches and memorials if you're interested in that. There is a lovely forest with a tree top adventure park and walking trails, with picnic areas nearby, again please ask for information about where to go if you need it. There are a few restaurants in our local town of Vire but there are many more places to discover. You'll find it hard to decide where to go first.
